Re: The story of Malcer Angalstrand
I have a deal to make with you actually. I could never play in ALFA again as a player, DM maybe but not a player. RP is restricted too much by unneccessary OOC barriers and rules all derived from some clostrophobic sense of paranoia. In short it makes me depressed. I am a peacock i need to be allowe...

Re: The story of Malcer Angalstrand
Lol I was just browsing throutgh some of my old Kail Stories, trying to remember the character a bit better and I saw this. He loved Malcer like a brother he did. Those were such sad days of torment. The Sharrans were such a frustrated and increadibly motivated faction. It's such a shame that it all...

You can get away with talking to people and voicing your opinions on ALFA's forums in a way that is totally unacceptable on every other worlds forums I've come across. When I left ALFA and went playing other places I was champion at getting threads locked and got banned from a bunch of forums for st...

Personally at this moment in time I am not possessing of a 3 year old character that has taken huge amounts of time and dedication to build into a story that I need to keep on track. I am also this time around not under the delusion that ALFA is the only Player World out there worth playing on and t...

Wow. Thought I'd take a look at how good old ALFA was doing for NWN2 and was almost done downloading all the Haks and stuff when I made the usual mistake of reading one random General discussion post and being reminded what ALFA is all about. It's the same old story of 99% of people knowing exactly ...

Tieflings are tame. you get some arsed up ECL just for a bit of extra stats and some resistances. You could just buy 'gear' to give you those properties on your PC and have had a couple extra levels. Which in ALFA is like 3-4 months of dedicated daily playing. Pure blood humans PWN tieflings any day...

Does anyone really need to ask? What he said: Shar in her nihlistic aspect(not as keen on her keeper of secrets role). I've always found the implication that she represents something from before creation intriguing. It raises the idea that she may very well be justified in her hatred of all things, ...
