Re: Enhanced Vision Spells
Have you checked to see if there's been some kind of fix to this released on the vault, or if it has atleast been discussed on the official forums? Seems to me that this is something that would have been noticed and fixed by someone by now, if not by Obsidian.

PC statistics
Since we went live, our players have rolled up 42 Warlocks total (out of 1294 PCs total). So about 4% Just some hard numbers for your consideration. I found the above information in an old thread, and thought it would be interesting to see more stats for how our PCs are divided by race, class, leve...

Re: Time flies when you're.. (Poll on reducing time compression)
I must be dumb or something... What exactly is the question we're supposed to vote yes or no on? Changing the time system? Or whether to test to change it? I see the proposal, but what's the question? "Should ALFA run a 2-week trial of a 14-minute game-hour?" That's the poll question. Lik...

Re: Circle Kick and Toughness
I had no idea Toughness was only to be taken at lvl 1. What's the thinking behind that?

PC graveyard
Well, Shallac's dead and I'm feeling a little sentimental so I just wanted to thank the players of everyone he got to interact with: Allina, Flora, Aelsarque, Ashan, Casen, Alexis, Aiden, Calum, Venrill, Isolde...and I'm sure a few others that slip my mind at the moment. Thanks for making my BG expe...

Re: Player times
On seperate note: Shallac is dead That makes me sad. I enjoy ruthless Swords for Hire and enjoyed Shallac the character. Hope your next one is just as cool. Incidently, I join in on the chorus of sadness about shellac's passing. Thank you, it's nice to know he made some kind of impression. I'm only...

Re: Player times
Well, moot point now: Shallac is dead. Not surprisingly, since I actively tried killing him off, but in the end it was very sudden all the same. Advice: don't go into Cloakwood at night.

I got a message saying something about being damaged by the water, and consequently lost 9 hp, when I was in the area Sea Caves. There's no water in there, though.
Also, wolves give no xp.

Re: NWN2 Climates
I love the idea of PCs having to overcome not just monsters, but harsh climate and difficult terrain as well. However, as has been noted, it may be better left to DM supervision.

Player times
It's starting to wear me down that I always seem to miss out on any story arc progression and big events on the server. I figured this thread could be used to see around what hours people can be around to play, so we could possibly match up better and get some more regular times going. As it is now,...

Re: ALFA vs WOW
Every step that ALFA takes to be more like an MMO is a step in the wrong direction, IMO. We don't need static quests, they are a poor use of a builder's time in ALFA. Instead of scripting a quest that will make players treat ALFA more and more like an MMO, take that time and use it to either DM or p...
