should we be able to import our PC's to whatever manifestation of The Forgotten Realms that we build for ALFA2/NWN2 and retain all memories of past events (because even if a past server is unavailable, our memories of that place would still be there)
or should we do a complete global wipe of PC's

It all depends if the nwn2 will come with a new set of rules..
as most of us know, new rules make transfers a pain.
as far as possible I'd advocate keeping a permanent world permanent though... with characters and everything. otherwise.. it isn't permanent in the first place is it?
