Heh. So much for those minutes.

Anyway... it is surely that time of the (bi)month again. I'd like all our NWN2 creators to come along, if possible; the meetings are, I think, useful to everyone who comes along.

OPTIONS (and I'm being super-flexible this time):

Preferred times:
Friday 31 August: 19:00-23:00 GMT
Sunday 2 September: 14:00-18:00 GMT

Potential times:
Friday 31 August: any time between 13:00 and 23:00 GMT
Saturday 1 September: any time between 13:00 and 23:00 GMT
Sunday 2 September: any time between 13:00 and 21:00 GMT

I believe I can make either of the "preferred" times, though since I'll be at work during the friday one, I can't vouch for my activity level.

The sunday one will be 7 AM start for me, which is painful, but do-able.

[edit: damn, post #2500 for me, have I earned a vacation or a bonus check?]

Either of the Friday time slots work for me. Weekends are always iffy so I can't vouch for my activity levels on those days.

14:00 GMT Sunday seems to be 07:00 for our Californians and 22:00 for our Aussies, which is just about the limits of acceptable, I imagine, so let's aim for then.

Can anyone who sees any of Rick7475, Castano, and ayergo point them in this direction.

Thanks to everyone who was able to make the meeting. I'll be PMing builders individually over the next week to further advance our discussions.

Was there a log? In any event, I am forging ahead with Silverymoon exteriors (adding to Indios) and waiting my Silver Marches book before getting on with the interiors. SM exteriors just need some landscaping, roads, and some more trees.

Discussion:

Aelred highlighted http://www.wendersnaven.com/ as a good resource centre.

Rusty talked about concentrating efforts on one to three servers, one of which would be TSF, the optional ones being Moonsea and IK (the next two most advanced). This was considered at some length with each team giving an update of their progress. It was agreed that it would be in our best interests to try and do this in so far as builders were willing.

Teric reiterated his need for input into the OAS2.

Acadius highlighted tech progress and scripting demands.

Rusty highlighted the opportunity for a number of 'Role-play' DMs to begin to participate in TSF and OAS 2, running Beta campaigns, one-off, testing, and DM Client familiarisation. The improvements to the DM Client from the 1.07 patch were noted. Aelred highlighted the DMFI. Acadius highlighted dmcreator.xml. Rusty asked if there were any significant contributors without NWN2 DM Status.

DM Status and Wiki access was clarified.

Acadius highlighted a potential problem with custom content at character creation and the transition to Live.

Cipher and Acadius discussed hak updates and WorldGate/Audolo.

The quest system was discussed.

Aelred highlighted vault content, including usable herbs.

Cipher and Acadius discussed ABR and ACR release schedules.

Follow-up:

Rick has joined indio, working on TSF; Mick and Ciph have joined Thangorn's team, working on Moonsea. Castano has indicated his willingness to join either TSF or Moonsea.

The new Head of Admissions has been informed of Teric's need for substantive input on OAS 2 static content.

NWN2 DM Wiki access was adjusted.

Hak release methods have been discussed.

When is the latest date anyone is receiving MotB?

I want us to have an all-but-compulsory Team meeting (or perhaps two in different TZs) at that date +1 week, at which we will set out our path towards Live.
