DM Chooser

Hi,
In the chooser I can see a list of waypoints in an area (specifically acr spawn points). I don't seem to be able to remove them using the "kill" option. Is it possible to delete waypoints in an area in some other way using the DM client? Basically I need to "turn off" my spawns if someone is using an area for a DMed event.
Any info gratefully received.

We certainly have ACR functions to switch on or off existing spawn points. You should be able to list and jump to them via the chooser, but currently there is no mechanism to list their details or switch them on/off scripted. It's on the to-do list for later, currently.

What would be pretty easy would be to set up a DM widget to activate/deactivate all spawns in the current area. Would that be a useful interim solution?

Check the OAS2's item creator, category "AL" - didn't get a chance to test it yet, but in theory, should do the trick.

Tom, you are a complete star. Appears to work ok; current spawns deleted, and new ones generated when the spawn point is turned back on. Haven't stayed on long enough to see if the point refires after its set amount of time.

I am awestruck by the fact us noobish types can ask questions and have our needs met by return of post. This week I would like world peace, a cure for cancer and an independant income. kthnxbai.

PS I'm close to uploading a new OAS - send me any acr updates that need including. Cheers.

That one was another request, along with the "player locator"- the snow wand needs some work though- in it's current iteration, it makes ATs into exeriors where it's snowing take a loooong time once the progress bar is about at 98%. Guessing I'm going to have to just have it active in areas with PCs in eventually, with it spawning into new areas as PCs hit the AT to travel.

Script-controlled weather is one of those orphaned ACR systems that would be fun to get to down the line, but isn't a priority for Live.
