Re: Modified Spells

Spider Climb could use a revision to apply an arbitrarily large Climb skill bonus.

Re: Clairaudience / Clairvoyance, the game engine implementation does not resemble the PnP version, so changing the duration to match PnP seems a bit odd, unless we're also attempting to change it over to a scrying-system implementation.

Changing to scrying type only with no skill bonuses. Ideally would also force a choice betwee clairaudience OR clairvoyance... but since is RP, maybe just informing the DM which function is OK.

How much is fair for a climb bonus? IMO it would still be a strength issue, but since spiders are abnormally strong and it is a transmutation skill, I would think it ELIMINATES a need for climb checks. In the absence of a DM, would be the only reason I can think of a climb bonus... so would +20 be appropriate? +99? What?

Question, since the Lore skill has been done away with, has Legend Lore been altered, and if so how?

Not modified, AFAIK.

Per canon looks like a RP skill, with a 4x50 (200) gp focus. I can add it to the next batch if needed.

Low Light vision seems to be bugged/not working.

I don't believe this ever worked in NWN2. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
People talk of bestial cruelty, but that's a great injustice and insult to the beasts; a beast can never be so cruel as man, so artistically cruel.

You're wrong. It does work. You just can't use it...

The spell does grant Low Light Vision, but since creatures who don't already have that also don't have the button to actually switch it on, there's no practical benefit.

Wow, how insanely stupid is that. Great job, obsidian :P

I suppose auto-enabling it isn't much of an option?

Not sure if these are still being worked on or not; the pending change to Magic Weapon, if possible, would be very useful, as would the changes to Bestow Curse and the appropriate duration description for Web.

I don't know much about scripting but if there's any testing I can help with for someone that's working on this let me know.

changing webs duration shouldn't be hard I'd think.

I'm looking into Mage Armour right now, so I could take a look at web after that.

The Magic Weapon fix is actually just tagging the scroll as arcane so it can be memorised I believe.

Web's duration has already been changed to 10 min / level I believe, but the in-game description needs to be updated (it still says 6 seconds / 2 levels).

Can some educate me on what is wrong with mage armor (or armour, if you prefer) as it is right now?

When I use it in single player mode, it appears to function exactly as the PHB description of the spell (+4 armor bonus for 1hr/lvl), but I have seen several mention how broken it is. I have not used it with a live PC, but it might be a possibility for my PC before too terribly long, so I am interested. Is there something in our haks that has broken it?

Thanks for any help you can provide.

it stacks with armour, in pnp it doesn't. We're aiming to resolve that issue for balance.
