Can we have the script that is in the OOC start area that lets you sell stuff back to the same merchant for the same price added to all merchants so that you can "try stuff on" without it costing you half the price of the item in gold? The script can be limited to selling back an item you just purchased and times out if you leave the store -- if that is possible. The reason i would like to see this script is that I like to try on armor and clothes and stuff and see if it looks right for my PC before I plunk down a bunch of gold on it. IC my toon would be able to look something over or even try it on before purchasing it and it wouldn't cost him anything.

That's not a script, it's just a variable you set on the merchant. Not to say it isn't possible, just that it would be a lot more difficult to implement than you might think.

I profess no knowledge of scripts or variables and defer to those that do to decide whether something like this is worth the effort =)

Why not have someone make an armor guide, like a place on the forums that has screenshots of all the armors so that you can look them up.

Since I have seen the successful transference of the moral script from OAS2 to TSM, I was thinking it would also be cool if another scriptset were transfered over. Teric has a nice system of roaming monsters...spawns that appear in one place, but then meander all over the screen, here and there. So you never know when you'll encounter something, or where, or even if! Makes things a bit fun. Granted, the camps we have now, especially in the high passes, work well, so if there is someway we can keep some spawns in a static position at their camp, and have others wandering around, like a patrol or some such, that would be neat. I know it'll probably take some work to do such, and I'm certainly not suggesting that something of the nature be done soon, just something to think about down the road when those more acclimated to scripting have time, if the dm team would want to import such for the server.

2 things

1.Can we please lower the DC on morale scripts for the enemies or remove them? It's hard enough to get xp already, but monsters are running before you even get one hit in.

2. Allow armorer's to buy pelts from animals please.

I had two gnolls flee from my PC tonight (who is a robed wizard - hardly imposing to a dumb dog-man). One of them was barely injured and the other injured (I believe they were in this state after previously fleeing from other PCs). Again, a somewhat challenging encounter reduced to a run-down-and-slaughter scenario. Maybe not a big deal, but one of them was worth 70xp (yes, seventy) and dropped some pretty good loot. More food for thought.

After the little event from tonight, where we got attacked by like an army of gnolls who decided to charge us then flee, i think this morale script is a little off... we were clearly out numbered and if the gnolls didn't run, we would probobly have lost miserably... personally i liked how it was better before this script was in.

I'ts not a bad idea, but I'm just wondering if it was possible to have a "collective morale", where it checks individual morale against creatures of it's own type around it. The as the numbers dwindle, so would the morale of it's "collective". As it stands right now, a beggar could chase down a horde of soldiers. The other pain in the neck is chasing them into area transitions.

I maintain that monsters and hardened killers should never break morale unless near death.
