you obviously didn't inhale, ingest or otherwise consume what you were supposed to... thus the haunting memories of those colors... don't tell me you remember the haircuts and shoulder pads as well. see, this is what happens when you don't take what's offered. for the rest of us, thankfully, it's more or less a hazy, uncertain memory with large chunks of it missing entirely
lol -- if you knew me you would know just how funny this post is.

Vault of the Sage static quest, errand #1.
Once I picked both stacks of book from the College's library, I received a notification that the quest was completed and got my 15 xp. But... Shouldn't I have to take the books back to the Vault Keeper first? And... where are my 20 gp?? ;)

Edit: oddly enough, when I trashed one of the stacks, the quest reverted to the "bring the stacks to the Keeper". Once I talked to him, I was rewarded XP again (so 2x 15, not sure if that is correct), and 20 gp. The quest is now in its completed state.
NWN1 PC:
Now (2017): Bran, naive servant of Lathander, currently thinking about opening a potion shop.
circa 2000: JenWa, proud mother duck and half-crazed sorceress of Shadowdale.

NW2 PC: Kasil Trueforger, dwarven scholar of Felbarr.

Garlus Ironbeard: [d] I was sure there was a reason we brought you along.
Kevorn Trueforger: [d] I'm da funny one and ye're da smart one.

Should not have been two stacks of books... guessing someone else who had the quest couldn't quite find theirs and logged off, so you ended up grabbing his/hers as well. Symptom of TSM being up for multi-day stretches with a higher overall player number. I'll see if I can come up with a centralized fix, but until then (and thereafter, really), do NOT take more than one item when on an item-based quest. If there are two or more, the others aren't for you!

Get used to this behavior for mobs with ranged weapons. You cannot hide behind something from missles. If the creature can perceive you and you it, then it can hit you. I could be wrong, but I suspect this is an engine limitation.
This is actually fixable, on a case by case basis, by adding the right kind of invisible placeables where needed, so the bug reports on it are still important. This is not a universal flaw of NWN2, but rather an occasional unintended consequence of attempts to make areas less laggy by turning many placeables into low-overhead "environmental objects" that don't affect line of sight / targetting / etc.

5c Moonwood (003_travel_map_moonwood):
  • The south-eastern transition, near the map pin "Quaervarr" does not function.
  • The north-eastern transition, near the map pin "Eastward" transitions to 003 Travel Map- West (003_travel_map_west_), at the AT called "Quaervarr". Taking that AT back puts a PC in Quaervarr.
  • the western transition, near the map pin "Winter's Edge" transitions to 003 Travel Map- West (003_travel_map_west_), near the transition point called "Winter's Edge". Taking that transition back does indeed put a PC on the Winter's Edge map.

I've spent many hours looking for the Transmutation proctor and have not found him. Is the npc currently locked away somewhere?

The book did not spawn when I tried to complete this quest yesterday.

Coming south from Quarrvarre to North High Hold, from the travel map, clicking on the AT for N HH transitions you presumably to HH, then right back out to the travel map just north of HH. Repeated attempt three times, same results all three times; party of 3, I don't think we were getting bumped by PC movement back onto the travel map three times in a row.

Crypt in Rivermoot:

High Priest Aaron Ra does not recognize worshipers of Kelemvor. Treats them as if they were neither worshipers nor worshipers of allies in regards to goods and services... and I imagine statics (if any are available).

Lady College

divination: does not allow you to complete it as the professor disappears by the time you finish the class.

Conjuration: no way to do this one and in addition to paying 50 gold it cost me 50 gold to drop the course.

Professors keep rather strict office hours.

All the Uni courses require some problem-solving skills. I'll remind those that have completed the courses to refrain from meta.

The courses are all completable unless something goes screwy, in which case you'll have to wait for a server reset. Don't cancel a course as it's bugger and I don't foresee it getting fixed any time soon.

Some of the courses can seem unintuitive or confusing, but usually it's just a case of thinking on what the messages that come up are hinting at.
