Here's the module as it stands. Don is HDM, and Rick is now its caretaker.

Here are the areas from a birds eye view...all are 32x32 and fully baked.

I'm uploading the full module, but at 350MB RAR'd, it will take a while. I will PM you the address Rick as soon as its ready.

I'm finishing my work on this module as of today, and starting my new module. I haven't decided what that will be, or whether indeed I simply build the next phase of 003.

Good luck with the mod. Things will need retrofitting when the quest system is ready...spawns, npcs, interiors.....long list of things yet to be done. But it's a start.

Thanks, if you could find out what happened to 5E and 6F that would be awesome. Thanks for all the great work.

I think for the exteriors I'll finish up with the Silverwood (2X 32 X 32), add one more area to the MoonWood (1 X 32 X 32) and touch up anything as needed. Then the exterior areas you see will be what we will go with for live.

Lots of interiors to do, NPC's, quests, etc.

Done, you'll have to sticky it yourself though ;).

These are simply amazing. I am still at a loss on how to create the tunnels of Mithril Hall. Did you do all of the texturing by hand?

Yep, most of the texturing for the exteriors is done painstakingly.

The tunnels are interiors are they not?

Anyway, the current plan right now is that I am creating extera exteriors to get away from the World Map form of travel and create a more traditional travel between areas. I am looking at about 5 or 6 extra exteriors before beta 2.

Are you interested in the micro-nized scaled overland travel map as a way to connect the current points of interest? There was some discussion on how such a system would work a while back.

Also, are you set up for hosting currently?

I studied the map and what areas that Indio built and I plan on just adding a few more road areas and the Silverwood and Everlund. It won't be exact to scale, but it will be doable and realistic, and very playable.

It is very close to beta 2, I just need to review everything and become expert at all the details.

I am checking in to hosting right now, but I haven't got anything yet, so it would be nice to see what we have in case my plan A won't work.

I was thinking about making the major areas of Mithril Hall interiors, but the connecting tunnels between them exterior caves, so that I could effectively give the illusion of actually being inside of a mountain. Deep mines are not deep mines if they are on the same level as upper mines. :P

It will be a challenge, but one I think I am up for.

*edit* On a side note, Rusty asked me today if I would be available to host for TSF, at least until a more permanent solution presents itself. I offered my server up to Daggerdale, but have yet to hear back about it, but Rusty says they might have found a host on their own.
