Many good ideas here; I suggest that someone else handle the business of organizing content and making it ALFA-ready, though. Much of this stuff is time-consuming though and there are more important matters do deal with for most of the tech team than adding a new outfit or head option.
So ... would anyone be willing to volunteer to organize some of these options so integrating them into our systems would be as painless as possible?

probably not very constructive

and, as I've helped with things in the past quite happily, I'm happy to help once again. IF the powers that be say which clothing sets they'd like (preferably as a PM) I'll set about trying to get them added in.
on the topic of the elf heads, personally I wouldn't add them, if you want your PC to look like that, put them in your override, but while it fixes the moon elves, it makes the sun elves and wood elves look real bad. To truelly fix elves we'd need entirely new head models which is sadly beyond my ability.

Daniel, you might've missed the old adage "if you can't say anything nice ..."danielmn wrote: BWWWWWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I understand you're bitter, but you don't need to be cynical to those who still may want to volunteer to this community.
People talk of bestial cruelty, but that's a great injustice and insult to the beasts; a beast can never be so cruel as man, so artistically cruel.
Re: Official hak suggestions thread
Indeed. It was errant. My bad. And no I am not bitter.....I had the same thought as you about a year ago...I simply kept my trap shut about it because I knew how understaffed we were THEN. If that has changed WITHIN THE RECENT WEEKS and more people have stepped up to help with the project, then I am completely off and apologize for it. Moreover I applaud anyone who is willing to take work off of the backs of either Curm or AL. Sorry for the derailment, let the original intent of this post continue.

I'd wait for the scripts to be released. But yes, lovely model.

Re: Official hak suggestions thread
(BTW in regards to above request: Xorns and Gel Cubes and Clockroaches are awesome in game. I saw them action recently! Fabulous.)
The first application of Kemo Animations is great but the clipping of the unwated emotes was a bit too judicious.
1. The animations called "Sit in Lap" in the Misc Tab are not used for actually sitting in laps. They are essential. We can use them to sit on non sittable objects with or without collisions removed. Sit on a wall? Sit on a couch? Sit on a rock?
2. The function that removes collisions is needed for social situations. The whole point of the animations system is allow social interactions like hugs, standing/sitting w/o shoving people constantly. It turns off in combat automatically as well.
3. In regards to having the full range of motions and collisions removed, all characters in alfa are permenantly clothed. Enough said. There is not much you can do with them with that in mind.
4. Suspension emotes are excellent for torture, magical events, and various things such as climbing up a tree.

I would very much like to see this one returned as well. It simply puts you into a sitting position and lets you adjust to height, so you can appear to be sitting on almost any object.Cloud_Dancing wrote:1.
