Now I know some of us are always relying on the talents of others to bale us out, but I've got yet another request.
Does any one know how to write plugins for the toolset? The one thing that would turbocharge building is a plugin that does step-and-repeat. I work in repro for print and all day in Quark and InDesign I take a page and copy it X number of times with an offset to fill up a large sheet of paper for the press. I am really missing a similar thing in the toolset; select placeable A and duplicate it a definable number of times at a specific offset (x,y,z) and rotation. It would make creating things like walls and fences so much easier (no more fumbling about trying to line things up) and would make building with the new building "lego" a piece of cake (make a wall, duplicate it 3 times with a rotation of 90 degrees, bingo, a room).
From my extremely noob-ish perspective it doesn't seem like that difficult a programming job (get position - do maths - copy) but I have no idea how to implement it.
Thoughts?

There's nobody here at the moment who can or has an interest in plugins, but you can copy+paste objects with ctrl+c and ctrl+v, respectively. It doesn't preserve all object properties from my experience (I always lose the Z-axis coordinate for some reason) but it's better than nothing. Preserving orientation is a big time saver at least.
