I /am/ actually considering rebuilding Zhentil Keep with the YATT building method when this hak comes out as there seems to be some minor corruption in one of my core areas that makes it impossible for me to save it without losing any work I do to it.. so perhaps a fresh start is in order and no more Terracoppa (as that seems to be my culprit)..

I'm still trying to work out if it's simply a re-rendered default version with some fence additions.
I do prefer the stone of this one to the plaster panel of the default, but I'd like it even more if it meant a simple texture swap to update to the new look.
It's a slickly designed set and I can't find fault with it. Been playing with it for about an hour.
Most pieces (and there are maybe 200 separate elements to it) are fully tintable. Some feedback from the vault also suggests a seemless integration with existing haks.

Usually that means they picked 2da rows that aren't used in any other common haks on the vault- which is good practice, but ALFA generally shifts the 2da lines ourselves, since we're zealous about avoiding future conflicts- so no guarantees that their efforts to avoid 2da conflicts will help in our case- sometimes it means they shift them right back out into our content ranges inadvertently.
To my casual glance, I don't see much there that we don't already have- but if the builders want it, I can work it into the haks soonish.

Do we want take something that has copywright one it in our hak?
I don't have a problem with this. Anything said in his defence is too easily interpreted as a weak justificaton for plagiarism, but I don't see him as being any more guilty of stealing than I myself am copying FR source material.
According to the Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary, to "plagiarize" means
1. to steal and pass off (the ideas or words of another) as one's own
2. to use (another's production) without crediting the source
3. to commit literary theft
4. to present as new and original an idea or product derived from an existing source.
In other words, plagiarism is an act of fraud. It involves both stealing someone else's work and lying about it afterward.

This is plagiarism why? I'm pretty sure he ticks all the boxes on this score..
As for copyright (which is different again).. I'll defer to greater legal minds than my own..

That set has a very definite dark, perhaps Gothic, feel to it. Would be perfect for ZK.
It would be nice to hear Oblivion's take on the matter. I'm not able to speak on international copyright law, but it would be nice if they allowed others to extend their artistic efforts for this sort of use. I have a feeling that it rides along a grey area and fwiw I've seen weapons haks for NWN2 that are taken from WOW.
I know this most likely doesnt violate US copyright law, because the creator isnt making profit off the work, is crediting the original designer, and is not redistributing something that is on the market for sale. (Oblivion is selling a game, not textures and models).
