Ballistas?

Post by MorbidKate »

Has anyone seen a ballista... or any other military hardware placeables that could be used in NWN2? There are plenty of options for NWN1 and thought at least something would have been ported by now :?

TIA,

Kate

Well there are placeables, but theres also working war engines, not sure we have imported them into our haks by now but I have seen them around in the vault. Anyway if what your looking for is placeables, Im quite sure theres at least catapults, siege towers, and not 100% sure but i think theres balistas aswell.

Back when NWN2 first came out, the only ballistas were on the top of a tower. I remember submerging it below the level of the terrain so that only the ballista was visible above the ground. I'll have to look and see if they've since been added.

The problem with the lowering the tower was a lip of the battlement that stuck out of the ground and bits sticking out if placed near a wall. We had a great Military pack of placeables available for NWN1 so I'm surprised that nothing has been ported over or created in all this time since NWN2 was released. :(
