Scripting isn't something I have taken too, and probably won't. But I would like to get the cool effects scripting brings. Please oh please can someone technical show me the repository for presets like street lights/lamps which turn on at night and off during the day.

Any repository for well made sound presets?

I'd really like an "explodes out of a tree trunk badger" too :)

The Bioware NWN2 forums are still a good place to look. Try both the NwN2 Builders - Toolset and the NwN2 Builders - Scripting forums.

For simple on/off lighting effects, use ACR variables on the object: as described here.

For "badger explodes from a tree trunk", sounds like you need a triggered spawn.
