I'm considering some sticky, drippy spawns for the Undermoor, and wondered if anyone had attempted such a thing before. I guess visual effects are the way to go...

Hmm, I bet you could do a decent approximation of a slime by taking an existing creature, and scaling it's height down to 0.002 or something, while leaving the width and depth default. might have to have it attack with creature weapons though, as it would be odd to see a puddle wielding a battleaxe and tower shield.

Wynna flattened a shambling mound for the TSM slime static.

I'd seen a "slime" reference in the TSM bug list but wasn't sure if it was a creature as such. Nice idea.

Wasn't me. It was Indio's original idea. Credit where credit is due.

Flattened mobs don't work too well I've found. The shambler's attack looked silly unfortunately, and I haven't found another model that looks good. But Thang's idea sounds good...certainly worth a shot.

Squashed water elemental looks good with appropriate vfx applied -:

* Black Pudding - animus, spider skin
* Green slime - camoflage
* Brown Pudding - thayan golem

stoneskin, ironbody and moldskin also look cool..
