toolset zooming in area with great height difference, howto?

I have an 8*8 exterior with min/max height of -100/100
Toolset will not zoom into the -100 level which makes it very hard to put placeables on the right place.

I've found a way with terracopa (copy the tiles to a heigher altidu, make changes and copy tiles back) but that's a clumsy workaround.

Anyone knows how the be able to zoom to a -100 altidude in the toolset?

Click and drag holding ctrl+shift will change the altitude of the camera.
