Can anyone please absolutely and finally confirm the following regarding the way NWN2 works;

Open Lock Takes 20 in all circumstances?
Disable Device is a roll in all circumstances?
Search (as in spot a trap) Takes 20 in Search mode and you have to be a rogue to detect traps with a DC of 35+?

Thanks,
Teric

Just found this which might explain why there's a bit of a lag in trap spotting in my experiments:

Open Lock takes 20, yes.

Disable device is always a roll (and a roll which fails by 5 or more is a critical failure, which springs the trap).

35 is indeed the cutoff for requiring a rogue to find traps, but search rolls happen normally (and frequently) to a 5' radius-- which becomes 10' when detect mode is on. (though models weren't modeled with this scale in mind, and ended up a little big as a whole, so what scripts will identify as five feet will seem a bit short to a person just looking at the scene)

Possibly incorrect memory here, but I thought that OL, during melee, was a roll.

Like "I'm being shot at while I'm trying to open this damn door!"

Again, possibly bad recall here.

Right-- you can't take 10 or take 20 when under duress, and the engine respects that in those few places where it tries to do that.

// edit -- unless you're a high-level rogue, who specifically spent a bonus feat on it.
