After 13 years of badgering I have finally convinced a couple of friends from my tabletop PnP group to join ALFA>



Is there still an application process? How do I get my buddies in?


(They're all lifelong pnp guys who have been playing since the box set in the 70s)



ps --- some of the new player links look like they are trying to go to old .org addresses

We have two open servers (BG, MS) where they can play right now, though only up to level 3. To play on our closed server (TSM) or to advance to higher level, a player still needs to apply and be accepted, which is at the discretion of the PA.

Can you list where the old links are? I'll try to fix them.

Thoughts about returning to things here sometime soon meself (finally managed to get around some technical issues as far as getting the game to run again) but RL has not been very forgiving. New blood (especially veteran tabletop guys) could make things fun...

The ip addresses on the below page seems current? There's always the Client Extender's 'fake Gamespy browser' as an option; everyone should be using CE anyway even if you bypass the server browser ingame, i.e. use direct connect or Zelknolf's monitor to go straight into our servers.

Note: I also had issues downloading acr content while logged onto MS; had to switch over to TSM to get 'em (though after successfully dling acr content I was able to reconnect to MS and download the module specific content without issues).

I think the issue with the links is that they go to .org instead of .info.

Great News. We can use as many old PnP players as we can find.
