Introduction.. introduction...

Well, let's see.. After the server I used to frequent fell apart, I took a couple of months' worth break, and when nostalgia kicked in, I tried looking for a nice NWN2 RP server to settle in. That idea didn't work well... And what with the frequent crashes during area transitions, I've kinda' decided to wait until Mask of the Betrayer, which is when Obsidian supposedly fixes sever-related issues.

To cut the long and boring story short, my search for an RP server moved onto NWN1, and when a friend of mine suggested ALFA, I quickly remembered the place which I turned down a looong time ago, mostly 'cause of permadeath. I don't think I was ready for -that- level of roleplay at the time. Now I am!

Okay, I'm done. Cue rain of rose petals now, please.

I'd also encourage you to help test the NWN2 Beta servers after we move to the new scripts (hopefully this week)- I would be interested to hear how your experience compares here to the previous RP servers that discouraged you for NWN2. Often times those of us buried in scripts can lose sight of small, fixable things that can really detract from players' experience (like being able to close doors, hah).
