By the way, Dorn and I play on the moonshaes at the moment. BG is probably friendlier for new pcs though with plenty of statics and other pcs around.

Welcome back.
I think one of you (seekr or bring3r) played a Sharran convert to selune on TLR that I met during the last campaign before the server went dark. But my memory might be flawed.
Anyhows....Get in game!

well the convert wasn't me, as for playing been tracing a problem with win7 64bit/nvidia and nwn2. I have reloaded nwn2 and the alfa stuff, brushing up on the buttons etc..
Tough on new pc's? lol when has that ever stopped me from dieing on a server.*grins*

Just remember:
1. Don't sweat permadeath. The servers are persistent and full of randomly spawning death. You can't solo like a MMO. You need friends. (see #3)
2. Ask in IRC chat about anything. Look to the left there and click "IRC chat"
3. Make your character on a server with people IN your timezone. (See #2 for finding out that). Talk to people. RP is the most rewarding thing about Alfa.
4. Don't be afraid of Dms. They can help you out if you talk to them in IRC chat. Talking to them while they are running an adventure may not produce the same amount of helpfulness.
5. Don't solo play. This is not an MMO. Every person I know who chronically dies does so through soloing.
