I'm not, I'm just curious about how to go about deleting a dead Character.

They sort of just pile up over time. I think I've got dozens in my list now...

The process for removing them is glitchy and was unsuccessful both times I tried.

There's very little reason to delete characters, do to our redo of the vault system.

It can be done, but you can't do it yourself. Tech would generally prefer that you wait until you actually have more than a dozen to delete (so at least the gain is that you have less scrolling/screwing around to do when logging in), and the process is getting a hold of one of us with a list of all of the character names that need to go (a literal list being more helpful than "everyone but Jimbob").
