Marcus Wands has been seen of late talking excitedly of dragons.

"Yes, it was a youngling /red/ dragon, called Zaxiolactal, that he slew, with his blade called Folly. He doesn't like to speak of it though... and his apprentice is /very/ sensitive. Did you know that dragons are innately magical creatures? It must have been magnificent! Can you imagine! My mother would be most interested..."

Several days before the posting of the following notice, Gaius Hammidi was seen embarking on a trip to return to Silverymoon from Rivermoot. According to all who can be reached who saw him on this journey, say he passed High Hold, but failed to arrive at Silverymoon. It can be gathered relatively easily, that Gaius' demeanor was jovial when last encountered and did not seem to be behaving out of the ordinary. Some have a hard time believing the official story as posted by the lieutenant, while others are only happy to run rampant with gossip.

SWORN WARRANT FOR THE ARREST OF GAIUS HAMMIDI

Let it be known that Gaius Hammidi, a human of young years, is wanted in connection to several robberies taken place in the mausoleum of Rivermoot.

Hammidi is tall, with dark hair and a somewhat handsome face, approximately 180 pounds, and is usually seen wearing light black armor with glowing blue stones as adornment. He is to be considered highly armed and potentially dangerous.

A reward is hereby offered for his apprehension alive, to the value of 200 gold pieces, paid from the coffers of the Lord High Priest of Lathander in Silverymoon.

A reward is also offered for information leading to his apprehension, to the value of 50 gold pieces, also paid by the Lord High Priest of Lathander in Silverymoon.

NO REWARD WILL BE PAID FOR HIS DEATH.

Rumors spread through Rivermoot and the Lady's College of the recent appearance of two beings formed of animated water, possibly water elementals, or water spirits, dancing and playing in the river near Rivermoot. One was a comely female in appearance, whom appeared to flirt with the males present, the other a jealous male whom apparently objected to the open admiration of the female.
Any persons speaking the Aquan language, or knowing persons able to do so, are encouraged to approach Marcus Wands for further conversation.

The archer and guards near the Rivermoot gates might be heard to discuss the strange behavior of the hin bard known as Rugo. He seemed to convulse and lose consciousness in the presence of a water spirit beneath the wooden watch tower and was seem being dragged and carried by the one-eyed gnome Rodlac and the magic user Marcus to the temple of Tyr. Sometime later he emerged from the Temple shouting excitedly before entering the Angler's Inn. The guards might be heard to theorizing as to whether Rugo was poisoned, bewitched, or simply insane.

Rumors have surfaced in Rivermoot of the disappearance of all the passengers in the latest boat to Rivermoot. Captain and Crew swear they left Waterdeep with a full crew, but when they arrived in Rivermoot, every passenger was gone, with no trace left of them.

Rumors FLY through the public places of Rivermoot that a savage fight erupted in the bar last night between two adventurers. It is said that, while the amount of blood was hard to determine due to the swordsman's red tunic, copious amounts were spilled in the sawdust of the floor.
No one was apparently killed this time, as the barely-conscious man in red was seen to be escorted upstairs after the fight by a wizard in a green tunic.

An official Notice appears on the internal and external gates of Rivermoot:

Pursuant to the Bylaws of the League of the Silver Marches, and the will of the Council, Be It Known that any further outbreaks of brawling, fighting, fisticuffs, or dueling within the boundaries of Rivermoot will NOT be tolerated. All participants in any such behavior will be imprisoned in the Legion lockup for a tenday, following which they will be escorted from the town and barred from re-entry for three full moons. Any death, disabling, or dismemberment occurring as a result of such activities will be treated as High Crimes, and the accused shall be brought to trial.

An argument between a Helmite Priest and and a White haired woman came to violence outside the walls of the High Hold yesterday at highsun.

The exact origin of the dispute is not known by the local Legion guards, but resulted in each party requesting that the other be arrested.

No blood seemed to be drawn, however.

Rathalan Whitsword has been spending great efforts in attempting to convince regional authorities form Ruavinwatch through High Hold to Rivermoot on the danger of the Xujja the devilspawn and his consort Ingriss and their associaties.

Any clergy, Legion official, militia leader, or Silverguard that can be brought to attention is asked to watch the group closely.

Rumors spread of the offer of 1000 gold coins to come from the Watch Knight's own coffers to be paid to any citizen or official that brings information that will lead to the arrest, trial, and imprisonment, banishment or hanging of any of the lawless band.

Apparantly, Rathalan Whitsword has also asked a local artist in High Hold to produce a number of parchment facial renderings of both Xujja and Ingriss though no bills have yet been posted.

*Vaccant Tone* "Donations for the Orphans, Donations for the Orphans" A mournful looking Knight in Silver Armor and black cloak was seen unsuccessfully attempting to raise funds for less fortunate orphans in Silverymoon and High Hold. Many commoners made jokes of the 'Great Prestigous Knight' shaking his coin tankard with an awe inspiring majesty.

While having lunch at one of the Taverns in Silverymoon a Knight in Silver can't help but to mention that he had a strange visitor - a tall beautiful woman from the Temple of the Loyal Fury. While hearing this a scribe from the Vault of Sages and a woman from the Lady's College says they have seen the very same woman.

At the Brandished blade in Silverymoon one drunk man yells out that there is finally a reason to visit the Temple of the Loyal Fury - there is a new guard outside - a woman!

Some carpenters and roofers in Silverymoon are discussing if the laws are about to be changed during one of their breaks.
