The golden haired scholar has fallen in battle. Sadly my arrival to the scene was too late.
He was the first to make welcome when I came to this city and offered wisdom gladly. Modok and I will return his mortal form to Tymora's Temple for last rites. Any with knowledge of a will should contact me at the Inn.

Re: A Hero has fallen.
He heard the rumour muttered near him by a drunk.
Alek stops mid-tale to the disappoited whine of the children, and many of there parents, he was entertaining with stories of shining knights and impossible victories.
'Golden haired scholar who died? It was not the elf Arathil was it?...was it?! WHO KNOWS MAN!?!
The youngest of children began to cry as the previously kind man regailing them with tales of wonder one minute turned violent, shaking the stammering drunk by the collar, his feet barely touching the ground, before casting him to the floorboards and striding off picking up his shield with a red chess piece painted upon it as he went.
Where was that ranger Maikaru....
