Congratulations to Lusipher, our new head of PR

Post by paazin »

Lusipher (the artist formerly known as Danubus) has been selected to be our new PR staff head.

Lus, you've had many good ideas and a drive to get things done - I'm sure you'll do a wonderful job back in the position and I look forward to working with you.
People talk of bestial cruelty, but that's a great injustice and insult to the beasts; a beast can never be so cruel as man, so artistically cruel.

thanks very much, Paazin! I look forward to working with you and the rest of the PR staff in the coming months as we get things worked out so we can showcase the ALFA project. Appreciate the vote of confidence and look forward to us gaining old and new players into the project.

Look forward to seeing some of our new servers online in the coming months and us getting our portalling system worked out so we can travel back and forth between them.

If anyone has any ideas or concerns please feel free to PM me or talk with me in IRC. Im around a lot so Id be happy to hear what you have to say.

Thanks again!

Sincerely,

Lusipher

SenorT is looking into transferring the ZoHo to me so I can set up tasks etc. He needs to speak with Paazin I believe. Once thats done Ill hold a staff meeting in IRC if people can make it. Just to get to know everyone and also get some ideas flowing in real time. I also have 2 members Im considering adding to the team. Im waiting to get some feedback from them. One has journalism experience like myself and one does PR for a living so we shall see.

SenorT had the foresight to set up the PR team with Zoho, which allows us all to set tasks, milestones, deadlines, transfer files, etc.

It's really quite a handy administrative medium to get projects completed. Even ALFA's higher ups may get some use out of it, though I'm not exactly sure how they'd go about organizing it all.

I have a concern/question. I took a hiatus for a couple of years after I became aware of (and fed up with) the anti-Christian bent that became apparent to me on the ALFA forums.

Can I (and any potentially new Christian ALFAn) expect more of the same from our new PR person?

If your thinking Ive done christian bashing I think you would be surprised that im on your end of the spectrum. I would be glad to share with you any concerns or questions you have in a PM. This really isnt the place to discuss this. I will say this: ALFA has had a very liberal stance on a lot of issues and let some things happen that most Websites/forums wouldnt allow. Lets just leave it at that.

Lusipher will do an excellent job. I honestly couldn't be happier that someone with his enthusiasm and experience has stepped up to fill this critical role. I know he'll be a pleasure for all of us to work with. There's a lot of great stuff to talk about with ALFA, and it doesn't get talked about nearly enough. Hopefully we'll be able to put some of that message out there so people can know all the great things that go on here instead of hearing about the one or two bad things here and there.

Congrats Lusipher!

You've got to be kidding me... Of all things you left ALFA for, you left because someone made a comment about your religion on the internet?
