ALFA Downtime

Starting tomorrow morning (~8:00am PST, 4:00pm GMT), ALFA will be taken down. The website and forums will be available at alandfaraway.info, and a temporary redirect will be provided to anyone visiting alandfaraway.org

Activity on the servers will not be functioning in the meantime.

Unfortunately with the nature of the change (some of which is out of my control) doesn't let me provide an exact time table. Normal activity will be restored as soon as possible.

New domain seems to be working okay so far.

BG and MS are up, in addition to web services.

WHL and TSM hosts can do the following, or provide me with access to log into the host boxes.

• Open a command prompt and navigate to NWNX4's temp folder, then into the NWN2ACR folder.
• Run plink.exe alfa@sql.alandfaraway.info
• Hit "y" and enter. Close the command prompt.
• In the NWNX4 folder, edit DatabaseConnector.ini
• Edit>Replace or Ctrl+H to open the replace dialog.
• Find "alandfaraway.org" and replace with "alandfaraway.info"
• Start the server.

• Server/players online list on Drupal now fixed.
• Forums should now keep you logged in.
