I'm flying to New Zealand today to start my new life. My internet contact will be intermittent for a time and I probably wont have my build rig and decent internet with me for a month or so..

Indio is working on the rebuild and I'll be back to kick the project along as soon as I am settled..

Take care ALFAns

Best of luck Thangs!

As an aside, is there anything Indio isn't working on? :D

Just wanted to let people know that I am still around working on fleshing out background stuff and YATT maps for the Moonsea mod. After moving countries, I have my build rig but not my monitor over here. With the size of the mod and areas I am working with the lappie crawls to a stand still so building with it is pretty much out of the question.

I definitely have more time on my hands now and I look forward to filling some of that time with building as soon as the missus and I get sorted financially so I can buy a new monitor..

I've actually got a pnp campaign running through Fantasy Grounds which is moving to the Moonsea area. This is enabling me to have a fun way to develop the content and possible questing opportunities through a different medium aswell.

Anyways, just thought people should know.

Take care now

I'm still here carrying the Moonsea can :)

Quick update: I now have my build rig reassembled across the ditch in New Zealand. Only problem now is, my CD Rom got fuggered in the move so I cant install drivers, etc. to get the machine on the internets. Therefore I cant update NWN2 and ALFA haks.. therefore I still cant build just yet.

Mr Duncan/Easter Bunny has however been building stuffs for teh Moonsea Reloaded v12. I just wish I could get a look at the stuff in my client but the rest of his work has been top notch so I have to say THANKS MATE! for that.

What would be really cool would be if someone dedicated and easy to work with came and took the HDM hat off me. I'm much more inclined to just be a builder and DM because RL really doesnt leave me enough time to be a proper HDM project lead and builder. I really dont know how others do it!

Anyways.. its still in the pipeline. As soon as I've got the build rig back on the pipe I'll begin focussing my online attention on the build pretty much to the exclusion of all else.

Best of luck, Thangs! Your dedication amazes me. It's folks like you who just keep doing what you want to do (in your case build) that form the backbone of the organization.
Enjoy the game

Good news everybody..

I have the 9 exterior areas that will make the Beta 2 exteriors all tooled up in YATT ready to go. Today I added a bunch of buildings and have all but completed the eyecandy on one of the 9 areas.

With YATT building technique I should have all the exteriors fully completed and walkmeshes done again in 2 weeks or so.. as I can knock over one area a night pretty much.. even quicker if the people who are volunteering pick some of the workload up :)

I made the terrain in YATT too so that should mean I have very little terrain work to do aswell..

Anyways.. moving ahead again and I seem to figured out how to stop myself crashing when saving and laying placeables but I'll keep you posted on that one and give everyone a run down on how to prevent crashes yourself..

Electryc, Curmudgeon and Racerblue have come to me with offers of assistance in this round and I wanted to recognise your support guys.

I'm also meeting with Marklos in the morning to discuss the first couple toolset workshops which we'll be running.. Stay tuned.

Nicely arrid.
All it needs now is some Zhentarim prodding some spears up some old begger's ass.
PS. I still like your city walls.
Do you know what "nemesis" means? A righteous infliction of retribution manifested by an appropriate agent. Personified in this case by an 'orrible cunt... me.

Patrons of "The Burst Boil" in Zhentil Keep, wait for a human, or better yet an elf, to walk in and while away the time swilling ale, burning furniture and making lewd jokes about the kobold's parentage.
