NWN2 003 Regular DM Session

Post by indio »

There are a few who may be interested...current testers, previous testers and people waiting for a DM'd session.

I'm going to be running a Sunday morning (Melbourne time) session from 7am, starting this weekend. I'll DM 1 hour for every player there, to a maximum of 3 hours. On occasion, start time will be delayed for an hour (this is when I'll be making breakfast for my wife.)

So if it's a solo session, 1 hour. If 2 make it, 2 hours, 3 or more 3 hours.

This translates to:

02:00:00 p.m. Saturday September 1, 2007 in America/Los_Angeles
05:00:00 p.m. Saturday September 1, 2007 in America/New_York
06:00:00 p.m. Saturday September 1, 2007 in America/Buenos_Aires
10:00:00 p.m. Saturday September 1, 2007 in Europe/London
11:00:00 p.m. Saturday September 1, 2007 in Europe/Oslo

No need to sign up. Just be there.

Arg, if I only weren't busy then :(
People talk of bestial cruelty, but that's a great injustice and insult to the beasts; a beast can never be so cruel as man, so artistically cruel.

Looks like I'm so there!

Conveniently don't have to work this Sunday 8)

Have to check those times carefully though, some converters are not to be trusted. Maybe I'll just hang there 2 hours before the scheduled time.

Very cool to have DM events already at this stage, however brief.

If I'm not there, I've just screwed up with the timezones, again...

I can't commit regularly, but i would like to try and pop on by on occasion. Sadly i don't have access to the interwebs quite yet, but this looks like fun!

For those of you who have never had a chance to witness Indio's DMing, you should really jump on this. He weaves some magnificently well thought out plots that always leave options open to the PCs.
There's a place I like to hide
A doorway that I run through in the night
Relax child, you were there
But only didn't realize and you were scared
It's a place where you will learn
To face your fears, retrace the years
And ride the whims of your mind

Anyone who comes will get 3000xp, either to build a new PC or add to their existing betas character. I don't want sudden death, so everyone's going to be at least Lv3.

And thanks for the kind words ayergo.

Groovy. What PWC do we need? I have one from 2 weeks ago, is there a more recent one?

/looks like I am behind on the haks, too...

****

I think it would be good to have everyone start with brand new characters, and keep these characters for the DM'd events only.

Sounds good.

I'm uploading a new PWC now.

Mayhem, try WorldGate again. It will download the PWC and all the haks you need. Definitely the way to go.

Let us know when the new PWC is ready for download :D

I'll probably play a Paladin of Red Knight with the "Natural Leader" background.

New PWC, availabe only via WorldGate, is now available.

For Runestaff, I've also fixed the broken hak mirror of mine.

Just checking...

So just under 3 hours for the event?

I've converted the time but I don't trust those programs.

That was fun!

Thank you Indio, and thank you my fellow players.

Gave us all a chance to get used to multi-player. A touch of lag, but not too bad.

Bit of an odd mix - obviously I don't know for sure, but I think we had, a rather large proprtion of rogues and/or rangers?

Who else *wasn't* one apart from Little Miss Bossy ;)

Rofl.. The merry rogue band lead by the fearless pally. Feels a lot like Robin Hood.. or would if Robin were a paladin. :P
Was great fun though. Looking foward to our next session.

Many thanks to Indio and all the others.

I really had a good time, so thanks for playing. 6 players! Terrific crowd.

Same time next week, unless we can agree on one where there's better availablity. Aered was at work, and I think Curm said he usually works at that time too, so maybe we could shft it a little? We'll see how it ges.
