The Big Make MS Better Push

I will pay $10 per static coded for MS, up to $200 total. Statics should be more than fetch item from vendor. Statics must be ACR compliant and update journals.

Send me an erf containing the quest conversation, and the completed creatures/NPCs, and a readme file telling where to put each critter in the MS module.

If you do not know how to make ACR complaint statics, learn how to do that first. It involves setting variables etc. Many of our builders already know how to do this.

This is a good way to learn the toolset in a somewhat motivated manner/earn beer money.

Payment will be by paypal.

Currently doing a big push on BG with shad0wfax to improve the content there. Once we're satisfied with how BG is, have all the new areas in, standardized/more mobs etc. I'll try to work on MS again too.

I've heard there are static writing programs (for lack of a better term) available on the vault that allow anyone who can think up a static and type text to create statics (ie no coding involved). If I can use those Castano I will accept your offer but only if you donate the earnings to ALFA.

If you need testers, i'm in for OOC testing of statics (Bu usually would not do statics these days, so rewards can be removed if he gains any --- and i hope DEATH could be removed as well *ahem*).

I really like this idea, i'm willing to pitch in as well, though I might add a caveat of the simplicity of the static affecting the pay.

I used the static creation guide from tech (http://www.alandfaraway.org/node/2577) and #alfa-tech in irc to create one of these. Most folks should be able to get the hang of it. Just takes a little investment of time and thought.
