Wayfarer is speaking to his friends and associates trying to rally for a delving in old catacombs of the Yintros.
It is his belief that somewhere in that place of fire lies some magical focus that might be used in closing the portals that are allowing passage of outsiders into Waterdeep.
For those interested it is important to note that Yintros is place of constant flame and heat. If anyone has in their possession imp horns, Wayfarer will pay for them (with plans to pass them to Bran for the brewing of as many elemental resistance potions as possible).
Anyone who has the ability to prepare for fire exposure by buying potions, scribing scrolls, or preparing spells, is encouraged to do so.

Ice! Snow! .... How could I have missed it right in front of my stupid nose?! Pater always said I was slow on the uptake. But maybe just quick enough to keep our bacon from fryin' down there in Yintros.
It's the cold that gets 'em. *slaps his own forehead with his big hand*
I was up north in the city looking to cut a few imp horns last night. It was cold and blowing heavy wind. This little imp is tucked under an awning and just as I approach and he comes out after me a snow squall kicks up somethin' fierce. There's driven ice sliding sideways in the breeze, hitting us both like little pellets.
This imp starts a screamin' and shakin' and making all kinds of noise. I don't speak impish or nuthin' mind you, but I can tell when a critter is in pain.
That's when it hits me. They can't stand the cold.
It ain't just protection from fire for us that we need. We gotta hit 'em with cold too!

* The lower levels of Yintros leads to a sanctuary of sort, a place where plants grow, the air is cool, and fresh water flows in abundance. It can be used to safely rest.
* Beyond that sanctuary is a connection to some deep sewers which seem to lie further below the ground than the regular sewers.
* In the deep sewers a nasty group of well armed fights and mages seems to hold power. Some knowledgeable characters have labelled them as part of a gang called "The Xanathar".

* The apparition of Levi spoke to a group of adventurers: "See them for what they are, not what they appear to be." and "Ease their pain." - It is unclear to who he was referring.

There is a secret hidden halfling town in Waterdeep and it is still in the mod. This is the place:
Warrens
The Warrens are tunnels underneath Dock Ward and Castle Ward in Waterdeep. The Warrens have existed for hundreds of years and are inhabited primarily by gnomes and halflings.
There is a temple dedicated to Baravar Cloakshadow located within the Warrens. The elder high priest of the temple, as of 1479 DR, was Ompahr Daergech. His great-great-great-granddaughter, Roywyn Daergech was also a priest at the temple.
