Daggerford updates
So, I have updated some areas in Daggerford. If you want a little dungeon action just south of Waterdeep there are several close to the Waterdeep portal in Daggerford. As you enter on the High Road 4, directly east about 4 - 5 areas is the Stone House, a multi-level dungeon that will require wits as well as combat. Traveling a couple more areas south on the High Road is a Waterdeep City Guard Tower protecting the road. Check with the Quarter Master for provisions and information. East along the Ardeep River, figures in black have been spotted. To the west, trolls have also been sighted. Further west, if you keep south of the Ardeep River you can avoid the trolls (who can't swim apparently) and take a boat you can explore the dungeons of Light House Island. Again, these are all close to the Waterdeep portal and online now. So you can take an afternoon for death and dismemberment and be back to Waterdeep for, well more death and dismemberment.
I have a lot more plans for expanding areas and new dungeons. The next update will have a caravan cart system for easier travel across the server for a 3 - 5 gp. Enjoy the fun, and I am sure there will need to some tweeking.
edit: The dungeons aren't really designed for soloing, please dungeon delve responsibly by bringing friends. You can, however, drink as much ale as you desire and drink and delve.

Re: Daggerford updates
Is there an indication of what kind of levels might be appropriate for these areas?
12.August.2015: Never forget.
Re: Daggerford updates
Trolls pretty high level, CR 7, leaders a bit higher.
Others should be mid level, a group of 3 - 5 level 3+. Use tactics, but you will be the guinea pigs.

There's a place I like to hide
A doorway that I run through in the night
Relax child, you were there
But only didn't realize and you were scared
It's a place where you will learn
To face your fears, retrace the years
And ride the whims of your mind

If DF is anything like it was back in the day, it is no place for the faint of heart.

Re: Daggerford updates
...sure is... Toliv wandered just a little too far once in one direction, but still on the ROAD... all I saw was the "red text" FLYING up in the scroller detailing the very numerous attacks being made at him at "range" and then looked up at his hit points gradually disappearing, just before eternal rest, I had just enough time to bloody high-tail it out of that area and keep running, chugging healing potions like tequila without looking back....

...but you'll be fine!
Re: Daggerford updates
The Trade Way is not safe south of Daggerford to the old Baldur's Gate portal and DragonsSpear castle. Dragonspear is guarded by an army of Tempus Knights, but underground there is rumor of a Dragon. This is a high level dungeon if there is party around level 10. I am tweaking through and removing the more lethal elements of the server, trying to make the Trade Way a little more safer. However, I was working on the Caravan travelling and when it is done you can get around safely. Don't forget there are lots of statics on Daggerford.
The High Road from the Waterdeep Portal to Daggerford is generally safe, save an occasional wolf. There are places to rest, so please report any areas outdoors that cannot rest. I am going over Misty Forest to also make it a little safer after Toliv patrolled through there and killed everything. Ardeep Woods is not safe ATM, these guys in black keep wandering around, they weren't welcome in Waterdeep I guess.

Re: Daggerford updates
Toliv killed what?
Toliv didn't leave Misty Forest village when he visited. He didn't kill a single thing in those woods.... maybe someone else did?

Re: Daggerford updates
I'd like to give Daggerford a try, but I worry for my squishy halfling bard. Rick, are the statics in Daggerford lowbie-friendly?
