Personality Disorders

Post by NickD »

As I sit here at work, implementing software changes that people have asked for but not what they want because I'm sick of pointing out that what they ask for will never work and I'm hoping that by giving them this crap they'll finally work out they need to think things through first instead of wasting my time having me explain to them why their ideas are so stupid (but knowing that this will never happen), I have discovered that I am PASSIVE AGGRESSIVE! And suddenly Rusty's comment about Soppi's passive aggressive behaviour make so much more sense.

I think passive aggressive is the way of life for most people in, and spawned of the UK.

Socially or physicly? Perhaps being spawned in finland helped you actually find this out about yourself. Most people I meet are agressivly oblivious how passively agressive they are.

I was spawned of Finland, not in Finland. :P

So what's the main personality disorder of the Scandinavians, then? All I can tell from my family is that they tend to be complete drama queens who sulk if they don't get to be the centre of attention.

More so when other characters pissed her off. Obviously because she's LG she couldn't go around laying the smack down naughty characters (and quite frankly, I think other players have used that knowledge to a bit too much advantage... someone who could summon a dire tiger to eat you should be treated with a bit more respect!), so she would punish them with disapproving looks and no healing or the like.

Wait, you work on July 4! What slavedrivers!
People talk of bestial cruelty, but that's a great injustice and insult to the beasts; a beast can never be so cruel as man, so artistically cruel.

What's even funnier is the moral building that i have to consider for any NWN2 PCs. You know i have to consider the idea of, for example, at least one of Millia's children would probably idealise you.

which would be both something of pride and FEAR for Millia  .

Disapproving looks? I think the one time you was even remotely Pissed was when i finally got into town to help you with that final segment of the Baneshard deal. I just recall being surprised taken aback baout the seriousness of the situation. But then again, the means that you did to get my attention about this, imparted the seriousness too.

But yeah, That's why Millia loves you but still worries, too. :D

Now, here's a thought: What does Soppi think (or approve off) Millia's many suiters (7 kids, at least 3 suiters)?

Scandinavians eh? Lets see how many people I can piss off in one post. Lets start with the norwegians!

Norwegians, are all a fairly silly bunch. They have the funniest language in the world, it never fails to bring a smile to my face! I think the swedish chef in the muppet show has got more norwegian than swedish in him.

Even a very angry norwegian sounds entertaining and should, to their frustration, bring a smile to your face.

All norwegians are also deeply religious. It is a bit of a conundrum in norwegian society, since religion is very very serious, and norwegians are in generall rather silly. This also rather explains why satanic black metal originated from norway.

Lot's of teenagers in norway rebell against their priests (parents) by joining the dark side. However, this also explains why the typical blackmetal artist/fan looks rather, well, silly.

Danes.
Danes are like dwarfs. They are usually pretty stocky, stoic and they take pride in talking in a fashion only they can understand. Seriously, where the norwegians happlily chatter and swedes sings articuletly, the throaty garble that is Danish is more or less un-understandable for any non-dane.

Dane's are not only proud of their refined tongue in speech, in stark contrast to the bleak norwegian cuisine, the Danish cuisine is more than art. It's a lifestyle! You always eat good food in denmark! And it shows. Danes are generally rather fat. And their pretty damned proud of that too!

They also smoke a lot and compared to the rest of their scandinavian brethren, have a fairly liberal relationship with drugs. Most are pretty content with their lot in life and is the scandinavian who is least likely to be found outside his country of origin.

Finnish people.

...

...

...

Talk? Me? Why? Why all this endless chatter about nothing? What I think about something, I already know. And I'm pretty sure you know too. Even if you didn't know, why should I bore you with my meaningless thoughts? I am pretty sure you would be as uninterested in my opinions as I am in yours. Better of just sitting here, sipping my Vodka. I wonder of the Sauna is hot enough yet?

Swedish people.
What can I say? We are in the middle geographicly as well as traits-wise. We have a bit of the norwegian jovialness, a bit of the danish pride and entrepeneurishness and a bit of the finnish analytic somberness. Swedes however, are generally rather jealous and always strive to better themselves compared to their neighbour. (The fact that norwegians have access to huge oilfields is a constant sore thumb, and most swedes mutter "we should never have let them become independent in 1903" or whenever it was.)

Swedes are also the most discontent with their country, leading to the fact that the we are the most likely scandinavian to emmigrate. However, when we live abroad, we preach to anyone willing to listen about all the good things in sweden. Its easy to believe its the best country in the world, if you disregard the things that are not so good. However, these things are easily forgotten since we, as a socialist democrocy, stand a head taller in political correctness compared to other capitalistic pig-dog countries.

Swedes are generally uncomfortably earnest about walking around naked his house and 90% of all swedes sleep in the nu de.
