Well, Nari came to a sudden and unexpected end. Here's sketch to commemorate his journeys and some of the people he met. Hopefully it will turn into a painting too.

Zapped by a beholder. Who woulda thunk it.

Fantastic art, really. ALFA has a lot of artistic, creative people but I think visually, your art has captured ALFA, its world, its characters and its feel better than any I've yet seen. Truly amazing - my favorite is the celebratory walk of the dwarves, the second to last pic in this thread, and I agree with a previous poster that the dwarf craning around to get a better look is a great touch. But even just the expression on Bital's face is wonderful. Anyway, its very good work - when I look back on ALFA 1 I think it will be Ogregrim's ballads and these drawings that exemplify the best of ALFA creativity outside the game.

Thank you so much! That is very gratifying. And thanks to everyone who has shown appreciation. It means a lot.

Colour version of Bital lecturing the returning Grimstone in Glen barracks, with Gilim and Capt Ungarsus. The good ole days.

One final remembrance from Nari Grimstone, sitting in Dwarf Heaven, looking down on Faerun and thinking fondly on all the good people he met and journeyed with there: from bottom left and clockwise, Granite Stonejaw, Faenor Bital, Foli Detrin, Beleg, Tuo, Brennus, Rhenn Cairnforger, Nega Silverhammer, and last but not least, our beloved Seargant Gilim Graybreaker.

(My tribute to Brim, his campaign, and all the great players I met and adventured with in that company.)

Absolutely amazing. Really top notch way to remember friends and our gaming together. Man, I'm at a loss for adequate words...
