ONE
The days passes on since my arrival to Baldurs Gate. I thought it might be best to write down a few words about what that is going on here and my progress. I have found a decent inn by the name of Blade and Stars, it will do for now. While being somewhat unsure about what to do in this city I have asked around in the city if I could help with several different things - which I have been able to do. Mostly simple tasks for now.
Sadly there is plenty of corruption in this city. My guess would be that there are as many citizens here as in Darromar. About the same size. Several of the temples are dedicated to filthy gods like the so called Bitch Queen.
The captain of the guard is clearly corrupted and does not care about others lives.
Regaring work I am mostly helping out with some postal services in this region - delivering mail to other cities and villages. At least I can make sure the roads are safe at the same time. Still I can not help to think of it as something rather boring to do.
I have met a few kind and interesting people like Laniara (an elven woman), Horatio (a hunter of some sort), Teresa (a follower of Selune), Noor (a strange halfling) and Sam (a weird follower of the Red Knight).
TWO
Thankfully I met a knight of the Noble Heart one day during my prayers at the local shrine dedicated to Ilmater here in Baldurs Gate. Yes I know it sounds odd that there is no temple dedicated to the Loyal Fury but this is how bad it is in this city. Me and sir Gandin of the Noble Heart went to visit the Citadel of Strategy dedicated to the Red Knight. Our goal was to learn more and gather information regarding the forces of evil in the region. It is troublesome to learn that followers of both the Black Hand and the Black Sun roam around the lands freely. The Red Knight we met at the Citadel of Strategy mostly spoke of plans and strategy along with stating that more information was a must before action could take place. This knight of the Citadel also suspected a war between the followers of the Black hand and the followers of the Black Sun in this region.
I like Sir Gandin. A man that share the same view as me regarding the forces of evil and that something must be done at once. Hopefully more knights will arrive.
THREE
First I saw some barbaric man with dark black hair who most likely made some sort of gestures to ward himself from evil as he passed by me. How odd. Strange people around here for sure.
As noted above I do at times meet some very strange people like this man who claimed to be the Warden of Baldurs gate. A clearly nerveous and awfully ugly man. I spoke with him for quite some time about arranging a meeting for me with Duke Eltan (the one of the dukes ruling this city that I think I should speak with according to my friends here). However since I did not trust this nerveous Warden Tark and he kept asking about my past and such no meeting could be arranged. I also found it unwise to share my thoughts about what I would like to speak with the duke about. For a brief moment I almost lost my temper as the Warden told me I might be some sort of assassin even though I showed my shield and all. Once again I spoke this odd tongue that few can understand all of a sudden. I have to control somehow what I am saying, but it is as if just happens at times. I will have to find a different way to have a meeting with duke Eltan it seems. The True will guide me as always.

FOUR
The days passes by with not that much new going on. I am still helping out with the mail errands and the guarding of the roads. The weather here is more than just a little different from the weather back home. It rains almost all the time here in seems.
Sadly there has been no sign of any of the Knights of the Noble heart. Hopefully they will arrive soon.
The good news must be that I have not seen any followers of the evil deities or evil monsters. Well at least except for two zombies that me and Bu dealt with swiftly.
During on of my patrols back from Beregost I did meet one very interesting woman. Alyra is her name and she is a knight of the Morning lord. She was heading to Beregost to attend to the knighting of a squire by the name of Calil (I think it was Calil). I traveled with this knight Alyra to one of the inns in Beregost. (Yes eating at talking seems to be very popular here in the north). Still it was very interesting to talk with Alyra and she could also answer a few things I was not sure of. Alyra was sure that I am one of the planetouched creatures in Faerun.
Surely it explains my ability to see in the dark and to speak that odd tongue. It also explains why I am not that bothered about strange temperatures. I must be careful with who I share this information and try to keep in mind to not do wrong by using any of my so called "gifts". Sadly Alyra said that she spends most of her time in Silverymoon and that she is staying at the Silverguard fortress there. I have no idea what that fortress is though. It does not hurt to be repeated that Alyra is a fine woman and one that would be a good friend.
If Alyra and I are different then I met someone that is the most strangest and different I have ever met. A man by the name of Bu who says he is a Druid. An Earthcaller I believe he called it. This man is obsessed with nature. He even wears a cloak made of leaves and speaks with trees for example. I know many would just say the man is insane but after several long conversations with him I think he is just wise, old and different.
Sadly this man Bu does not seem to understand the importance of dealing with the forces of evil. The good thing is that Bu is nice and kind along with a man with great knowledge regarding the weirdest things. Bu can even enchant things he said. I made a deal with him to help me with a talisman as he called it. Yes I know many would say that I have been fooled, but I got something to hold onto until he is done with my talisman and I have not paid the full price for it yet. His prices does seem to be fair as well compared to what other merchant are selling magical artifacts for.
At times the conversations with Bu are almost out of control and he is absently caught up with the nature around him.
I wish I could do more and help more. As long as the Loyal Fury is with me I will be fine as it is written in the holy books.

FIVE
Things happens faster when I can write them down it seems.
During one of my travels I met a tall man by the name of Keren. Apperently his mother had wanted to have a girl instead of a boy - which would explain his name. Keren seems to be nice, but I do not know what to think of him for now. Me and Keren met up with the Elf Elbrar in the Temple of the Morninglord in Beregost. There we heard this coughing man Saabear who had caught some sort of unpleasant illness. I do not trust this odd man Saabear and I am not sure I would have helped him the way Elbrar did. Saabear more or less mentioned that he had prayed to the profaned Stormlord!, but that he was a follower of Tempus now. I must say I did find it odd and strange. What is wrong with prayers to Valkur when you are at sea if you do not think for some weird reason that prayers to the Loyal Fury is not enough?
I met up with the Gnome Wizard Biddle in Baldurs Gate. Shortly after the lovely Elf Dawn joined up. Biddle told us he had been assigned to search for one of the Duke's missing dog with an expensive collar. We searched many parts of the Cloakwood. We did not see any sign of that dog. Somehow the odd Elf Shqiponje found us in the woods and he joined up with us. We even searched the Ruins in the Cloakwoods. Goblins, Gnolls and even a Zombie were put to rest. Still no sign of the dog. We all returned back to Baldurs Gate. Likely the dog has been eaten by the filthy Goblins.
The next day I met one ugly half-orc without proper manners. This half-breed called himself Freck. Freck explained that he and two others were in need of help in dealing with a spider in the sewers. The two others turned out to be Shqiponje and a dwarf (the dwarf was also a being without proper manners and I do not remember the name). The four of us went down into the stinking sewers of Baldurs Gate. We managed to kill not only one but two Giant spiders. I am now also a Giant spider slayer. We returned to the Captain of the Guard with the news of our success. As usual the Captain had "forgotten" to mention the true danger he is sending others to handle. The group split up shortly after and I do not think I will travel with this half-breed and dwarf again. Their lack of manners and the way they treated Shqiponje is simply too much for me. I told the dwarf I would slap his butt if he kept offending the Elf Shqiponje. Thatfully I found a homeless boy who was willing to clean and polish my boots after that visit to the sewers. A few well spent coins.
After helping out with some more mail errands I met the Elf Elbrar, Dawn and the newly knighted Caine Kross at the Blade and Stars. Shqiponje arrived as well. Shqiponje wanted to visit the Cloakwood and search for bandits. Both Elbrar and Caine insisted on not to visit the woods since it would be too dangerous. It was decided that we should help a farmer with some Bugbear problem. I insisted that we should visit the woods. Anyways we went to help this farmer and strangely it turned out that he had no problem with Bugbears - he was just in need of a simple tool. Suddenly the others had no problem what so ever in visiting the Cloakwood.
I fear Shqiponje will get killed one day in the near future he keeps charging all the monsters we meet.
In the woods we fought many dangerous creatures like: Giant bugs, A two headed Giant, Goblins, Worg riders, small spiders, two Trolls and Hobgoblins. What a thrill it was. Now I have been part of some true adventure and at least been part of killing many powerful and evil creatures. No sign of the Bandits Shqiponje was looking for. They must have moved on or gotten killed.
I miss the plains from back home though. These woods with plenty of trees and bushes is something I doubt I ever will get used to.
