My application has just been accepted, can't wait to get a character going... but first must download those haks  they're very big... might take awhile.

Way to go! I knew it was a matter of time before you got in. Hopefully I will bump into you on live at some point or another. I will probably tool around in the OAS still on occasion.

There are several topics scattered about that in hindsight cover everything. But from my recent experience of last week there is no ONE link that covers every single thing concisely. I am actually considering making a post somewhere that covers everything down to the last detail, and is idiot proof, and up to date. However I will send you a PM explaining exactly how I did it.

On-topic comment: Welcome to ALFA!

Third character, I believe, Vendrin. Any player that can take an unwarranted PK so well is a friend of mine.

Ummmm.

*to Marek* You'll have to forgive Aerthrin, he's probably multitasking while slaying apps on the OAS...

EDIT: Oh, and thanks Aer!

I've been looking around for a day or two but I just can't seem to decide on a good server, could someone please point out a server that would be good for me? My timezone is GMT +10 and for now I am able to play all day. But in the next few weeks I will be restricted to playing from about 4.00pm GMT+10 onwards. I enjoy playing dwarves the most out of all the races, but will settle with others. I enjoy playing mostly fighters, paladins, clerics and monks the most (of any alignment). I'm looking for a server that has a large number of players on during my times and that has alot of RP adventures, don't have to be killing every step of they way, but I get bored with tavern chat after awhile.

Welcome to ALFA.

If you're looking to play a dwarf, may as well poke around in the IRC chat and ask where some good niches might be, see if those fit against your timezone. Have fun!
