Im thinking this movie will kick much ass with Chris Nolan directing again. Its supposed to be more dark than any of the other batman movies. The name of the film itself is taken from the Frank Miller The Dark Knight Returns comic. It will be interesting to see the guy playing the Joker. I cant think of his name atm since its late and im dead tired.

Edit: Heath Ledger.
Currently Playing: World of Warcraft.

No, the original was way too camp. This is a sequel to Batman Begins, which is much darker and more faithful to the comics.

Geez... I remember seeing that movie when I was 18... you wouldn't have been old enough to go to kindergarten back then!

I'm not too sure about Heath Ledger as the Joker, but I'm willing to give it a chance considering how well Batman Begins was done. For the moment though, the only real Jokers in my books are Jack Nicholson and Mark Hamill.

Nice pics, I'm guessing by the regular skin still showing that those Joker shots are pre-chemical bath? Or are they going a different way with this Joker's origins?

Of all the batman actors this one is my favorite. He was fantastic in American Psycho too.

Though I've always wanted a movie that actually was The Dark Knight, with somebody like Sean Connery as Batman. That would be amazing, especially when they get to the Superman fight. 8)

I suppose they'd have to rewrite it for a non-Cold War world, or say it restarted.
