Dan's departure is a tragedy. I can't see how he bears any blame at all and am interested in who's been insulting him.
Enjoy the game

[Just realized HR's post was getting hijacked, so I moved my post to its own thread]

I always knew Rusty wouldn't leave without taking a big bite out of this community with him. Looks like we'll have to lose a piece of ourselves without seeing his hindside. shame.

Also looks to me to be at least the second time Rusty has acted on personal bias to go after a player. The first was to attempt while I was lead to force a player into a plot that the player in no way through their play insinuated themselves into (which is pisspoor DMing in addition to anything else). The second is here, an interpretation of facts in the most undesirable (and in the end unsupportable) way to facilitate the removal of a particular player with which he has personal ill-will from the community entirely. Who knows if there are other instances. I believe the technical term for this sort of behavior is griefing. I bet its in the charter somewhere.

I am very curious to see how other DMs will regard this person's candidacy. Will this person be chosen to represent the DMing philosophy in ALFA? Who else will he try to get kicked out I wonder?

As I mentioned in FI's thread, I'm a little curious as to why stat bonuses became an issue of interrogation rather than simply a wealth issue to correct? Standards are in place to fix problems without resort to acrimony or accusations. Apparently, with TDawg consumed by law school, that fact has been lost on at least Rusty if not others.

The PCs were having their wealth reviewed. A DM asked them if they had any permanent stat edits. They said, yes, +2. That was not true. They had +9. Hence the question of whether lying to a DM is an offence. Apparently it isn't.
