Skullport - Updates and Screens

I've got a basic infrastrcuture of shops and quests laid down, I've added a decent sized port and I've divided Lower Skullport into two, smaller maps. Load times are good, and I'm about ready to enter beta.

We need a DM team before this server can go Live. Please step up. I'll be working on Skullport/Waterdeep for a while, so you'll have me as a builder for the first stages.

I'll be hosting throughout beta, and I'm a potential Live host now that I'm getting ADSL2 at my place. It's got a theoretical upload of 1000KB/second, which obviously won't offset the length of the pacific and atlantic oceans, but it will provide much better stability in combat. Sadly upload is counted to my bandwisth usage, so my 25GB per month deal may not be the best for the long-term job, but we'll see.

The churn is happening over the next few days, so sometime next week I should be able to get the server up for testing. PWC files will be very small (under 100MB). I think it's important to get another server as soon, and given the relatively small size of Skullport, it's probably a good candidate. Looking forward to hearing from interested DMs.

I... didn't even realize there was a Skullport server in the works for NWN2.
Part of ALFA since May 2000.

Wow. Nice work Indio.

Since I have a PC on TSM, I might consider joining the Skullport DM team - someone needs to know how to DM drowses right.

;)

Yes, well that would be completely brilliant.

Is there going to be inter-server travel for PCs? I mean can a PC on TSM go to Skullport?

Looks great, Indio. I especially like the color variations.

Definitely yes.

The portaling system should be similar to what we have in NWN1 in the beginning (ie with a shared server vault).
Then we may very well trade it to something like vaultster.
