Just saw it.

Awesome movie.

So many nice points, but don't want to spoil it for anyone.

The only negative is Bales "Bat Voice"... but then, Kevin Conroy will always be the Voice of Batman for me...

disguised accent is disguised. It is the purposefully low and the gruff.

There's disguised voices, and then there is "comedy growling".

The movie was overrated. It was good, but it is definately not the best movie ever made as IMDB reflects.

Heath was good, thats about it. The rest, was mindless action, and Batman with his stupid pretend-voice. Woooo im Batman, shit im so cool i have to make a pretend-vooooice,- Wooooooo.

I hope the IMDB score lands on a more normalized level soon. I will not permit this insanity on MY internets.

Majority of the acting was good, Heath just stole the show. It definitely felt like "The Joker, featuring The Dark Knight," but it certainly didn't detract from the entertainment it provided. The action was hardly mindless, as that would suggest it was random, misplaced, and had no bearing on the story whatsoever (see: most Arnold Schwarzenegger movies).

Batman's voice was comical, especially considering the speeches they gave him while under the mask. If they had toned down his quotes while under the mask, it wouldn't have come across as so grating/bothersome. It makes sense for the growl though -- under the mask, Bruce Wayne is no longer Bruce Wayne, he is merely The Batman. He's essentially someone else, and his voice reflects that. Humorous? Yes, but understandable. Bale needs to tone it down so we can actually understand him next movie (if there is a third).

While I will admit that it isn't the best movie of all time, I wouldn't be so harsh as to downplay it as overrated. It brings to the table everything it promised -- a good comic movie, close to the "lore," entertaining and great acting. Any fan who says it's the "best movie evar" is exaggerating, but that doesn't necessarily mean the movie is a farce because of it.

I believe that was my intention to point that out in my post.

Any more disrespect from you towards Arnold Schwarzenegger movies and there will be problems between you and I.

They should have made him talk in a squeeky high pitched voice - like a bat! :jive:

Just watched tonight. While it's not the best movie ever made by men, for me it was easily the best of all Batman movies to date. As for Bale's growling, the voice didn't annoy me nearly as much as the way his mouth contorts when he does it. Nothing that compromises the movies though.

I also just went to see it. I didn't think it was the best movie of all time either. That honour still goes to The Professional, another movie with Gary Oldman in it.

I thought he was talking normally with the suit having some sort of voice altering growling thing rather than him doing the growling himself....

He needs to contort his lips like that so he doesn't sound like a lime.

An electronic voice changer would actually make a lot of sense. If only Brune had thought of it.
