I'm not too worried about whether or not it's gimped. I've been getting along fine enough with it as it is.
Well, you have to consider that the whole scene is gimped because when you subdue or kill them, that weapon they were swinging around, that armor they were wearing, that shield they were cowering behind ... *poof* ... magically disappears.

I think it is also important to consider the wealth standards, and how the PCs ingame are actually well below the standards... meaning that the PCs are being denied potential wealth and everyone is running about far more poor than they should be. And yes, these subjects are being addressed, to some extent... but to address the wealth standards, we cannot ignore an obvious nerf.

I did consider that, but honestly... I don't mind. There are bigger fish to fry, and if the staff are willing to accomodate an adjustment to this, more power to us. Thanks for offering to fix it, in any case.

Not sure why you couldn't just flag the items as stolen and have them drop. If it's useful you use it, otherwise it's "junk," PC wealth levels notwithstanding.

Final test on the disarm feature... it doesn't work +90% of the time. Some weapon-wielding creatures cannot be disarmed. The remaining creatures can be disarmed, but when a disarm succeeds, the damage they impose is the same and they do not suffer attacks of opportunity. In other words, even though a weapon may visually disappear from their hands, there is no change.

So... please indicate on the wiki that disarm is not functioning, and thus not to waste points on it.

Just a small update: A disarm attack on a helpless (for instance sleeping) target is replaced by a Coup de Grace, even though the disarm attack does no damage. Another reason to discourage the use of disarm I'm afraid. :wall:

I wish I saw this before rolling up my pc. Ah well... yet another slick/finessy tactical option from PnP out the window thanks to Obsidian. I guess it can be RPed out via bunch of dicerolling (donno how you'd account for the AOO doing it that way though) and quibblying over pnp rules with people who aren't experts at such... sounds fun. *grumble*
