Im not too sure as to canon, but the TSM server is severly lacking any Monk based content. Id like to see, if nothing else some sort of monestary (perhaps to the old order) where monks of any denomination can gather, get monk based equipment (the +1 boots, bracers, robes would be handy) along with or practice their skills on each other (NLD combat duels) and have a place to learn those amazing abilities that just seem to pop up each level.

That being said, id really like an interesting selection of clothing be made available other than the old fighting Gi that is really cliche, especially if they are able to be made with a +1 to AC ect. (Figgured id just ask for everything in one post rather than dragging it out) oh and the MW fighting gloves would be nice too.

My second character on TSM was a Monk of the Old Order, may he rest in peace, and yes there is little monk content and equipment available. If you are handy with the toolset I am sure our HDM would consider adding any of the items/areas etc that you propose which seem in line with what is available for other classes. A monastary up in the hills above the glacier near Rivermoot and/or in the largely empty areas between Rivermoot and Wintersedge would be really cool. Wish I could figure out how to use the darn toolset but alas it is beyond me. :?

Imagine how much fun it would be to save all the gold you could and spend it on the foundations of a new, small, monastary in a bit of the unclaimed savage frontier.

Sure it would mean you couldn't afford the +1 gauntlets of feeya, but teh RP benefitrs could be AWESOME!

We had to do this sort of thing back in the TLR days. We didn't 'get' anything. Had to earn it (I believe saving a gold dragon from the Dragon Cult at the price of the death of a few of our group (L6's?) and thousands in items used up or lost earned us enough to reburbish a tower...but then we had to pay ongoing fees). And i'm not talking down my nose here at all, i'm trying to encourage as it makes it SO much more worthwhile.

As for short term things, I'm sure DMs would be able to help you with items.

Have fun:)

Do they sell Monkey stuff to Non Illmateriarians (is that a word?)

Don't think so, but thanks Rick. And Rick just reminded me, is that house on the hills across the Rauvin Bridge near the Keep a Monastary? It sure looks like one.

I miss my monk. :( If Thoron takes a dirt nap I just may have to roll a new one.

hey i read in another post that there was a lack of drow custome content and saw this awsome drider here.

http://forum.bouncyrock.com/viewtopic.p ... &sk=t&sd=a

and thought with a little scripting to add in the test of loth characters could become driders! i know this is likly not going to happen because of all the scripting and custome class they would have to make but i thought it would be a good idea. :D

Can we have composite bows? Or do we have them already?

What he said. Something like that would give folks like Lem and dwarves a reason to us bows instead of throwing axes, even if it exposes them to greater chance of actually getting scratched in return.

Still, one has to wonder what a player of a brand new PC is doing shopping for a composite bow... Have any rich folks died, lately? *looks around curiously*

Dunno if it's feasible, but some differentiation in what temples sell to non-believers would be nice.

Composite bows are certainly possible, as I have found some when pricing Baldur's Gates items for the penguin.

Id like to see a few shops sprinkled around the TSM server which sold exclusive stuff to everyone. For exapmle, to get people travelling out to winters edge, perhaps it would be cool if there was a master silversmith who made masterwork Silver Weapons of all types.
