I think this is one of the most useless threads ever.

I understand that when you have 5k posts and now 3 you might feel that sucks. But to me the fact that you bitch about it states you clearly want to show off something, which doesn't really seem good imo.
I'd say remove postcounts all together. This way someone will only post something when he really wants to say something, and not because he gets ANOTHER GREAT +1 TO HIS POSTCOUNT, WHOOHOO!

unsigned medium int demands to be unable to set negative values. Sorry, you have 0.

I haven't modified any code so far, and I won't start now. We only add modules to add stuff, never modify any code. Because doing so makes it horrible every time there's an upgrade to on any backend. I'm so glad I'm in charge of this stuff so nobody are allowed to make such mistakes.

I had almost 8k, and am now under 2k. It was a point of pride that I had been a member of ALFA for a length of time, that is still here, still actively posts, and also contributed to the forums for such a length of time. Yes, many of my posts were spam, but the majority. And if you truly think how I went about this was a bitch, and not a sincere request, well whatever, I can't change your opinion on the matter. I had the highest post count in ALFA, it was a medal of sorts for me, all I did was ask for it back, and as by my above post if possible I was willing to do what needed to be done to fix it.

He did offer, it doesn't hurt my feelings that Vendrin has the monopoly on post counts...

Making his post count 0 ... that is an abuse of power by the IA... I'm sure it was just "being funny" but still, before things get heated, why not just let Vendrin do the work to restore things.

"Abuse of power" is taking the server vaults hostage, preventing the community from being able to accomplish anything... oh wait, whoops!

I now agree with the folks suggesting to do away with post counts all together. The fact that people honestly get upset over something so minuscule (sp?), and seemingly compare it to contribution akin to building servers and making the community better, means that ALFA would probably be better off without it.
