Upon well worn parchment...

Post by Vintenar »

...a letter is written in elaborate script and posted on a wooden beam in the Rivermoot Tavern:
Citizens of the Marches, who among you could be called brave? Who among you could be called ambitious? I challenge those of you who think so to prove it to yourself, the Realms and to the gods themselves.

With this intention, I propose to form a group to seek out the dark, secret places of the land and to uncover their lost knowledge. This is your one life, do not be afraid of the night.

~Morten Gundhramn
(( ooc )) After hoping for a time for some good DM hooks or to meet the right group I decided to post out a call instead. I am not much of one for tea party RP or watching PCs make out in front of the Rivermoot gates :chin: . I would like to start a regular group with the simple intention that I believe is the heart and soul of DnD, going into dungeons (can you believe it??) and heck, possibly even finding some dragons. No frills, no drama, just going out and exploring this vast server that has been set up for us.

Mostly, I would like to find some characters of all types that are not currently associated with any ongoing campaigns or caught up in plots and give us some direction. Mostly I play weeknights very late EST (like 10pm-2am) but I could play earlier if needed. Those interested should PM me on the forums or in game.

There are tons of dungeons on the server just sitting there... lets get in there and do some crawlin'!
Past PCs: Kasimir Mace, Janus Faust, Morten Gundrhamn
Current PC: Karsus Valdyr
The waves were dead; the tides were in their grave, the moon, their mistress, had expired before; The winds were wither'd in the stagnant air, and the clouds perish'd; darkness had no need of aid from them--She was the universe.

Has this gotten any traction?
Sounds like something my wild elf could get into, as long as it's not pure hack and slash...
I love RPing a good adventure, getting to know each as we travel and camp, arguing about battle tactics and strategies, even ragging on each other after a fight. Oh yes and did I mention kicking monsters arses.
