Who all else is interested? Maxcell isn't too far away from Philadelphia as I recall... seems like we've also got a number of members around the North Carolina sort of area (Danielnm, Mick, Glassrain, ?) P.W. is in southeast Virginia for now, though his availability may be poor depending. I suppose Charlottesville would be a possibility, though it's not the cheapest for hotels/motels, nor the best place to go "out on the town" (haven't been here long enough to know all the good places yet etc). Lou and I are up for driving wherever within reason.

Do we have any volunteers to advocate their local stomping grounds and play tour guide to some semi-strangers from teh internets?

I may be able to make it, depending on when it happens. I am in NC (close to Raleigh) until June, then I'm moving to Birmingham.

Let's aim for sometime before June then, to make life a bit simpler. Any long weekends between now and then to make work schedules easier for folks?

We still need to work out a place, also. "Historic Charlottesville" is nice, but it really is a small college town.

There's Memorial Day weekend, May 23-25, 2009. I'd be iffy at best, but could be tempted.

I will likely be moving mid June, so probably not. I would have to check with the boss, however.
