Re: Bug Thread January 12, 2009
Not sure if I should post this here as it probably isn't a TSM specific bug, morely like an acr or nwn2 bug, but my new lvl 1 rogue has medium armor proficiency and alertness feat. I did not pick either of those feats on creation; they are there in addition to the lvl 1 feat that I did pick, mind over body. While it's nice to have those boosts to listen/spot I'm pretty sure this is a bug...? Unless it's a regional feat or something that got granted for free? *wishful thinking*

Re: Bug Thread January 12, 2009
If you picked one of the rogue packages (i.e. wild child, born leader, etc.) it probably came with the package. I usually take default on class, hoping to be able to actually get to select my own feats and apply skill points myself, but have never been able to do it with a first level yet. What sounds unusual to me is that you were able to select a feat at first level at all, but everyone knows I'm mechanics challenged so I probably shouldn't be replying in the first place, heh
Which begs the question:...why is he wasting bug thread space?
The answer:...I really don't know.
Uhmmm...what comes after Brown Bear anyway?

The trick is not press any package, but use the button that says "customise" and that way you pick all of your starting feats.

Noobs, all of you.
I did not pick a package; I've done a lot of silly things in life but that is something I've never done when creating a nwn2 character. Also, picking a package has no effect whatsoever on such things as giving you extra feats.
All new characters are granted a feat at lvl 1, John. If you didn't know that, well, you are indeed somewhat mechanics challenged and need to read the manual.

Heh, seeing that emote, I like him already OGR.
Just in case people get the wrong idea, I'm (mostly) kidding. I'm familar with the rules and mechanics but not an expert or authority; if you're less familiar with them, don't think something as silly as that means I look down on a person.
Having said that, John, you need to read the manual. Now.

Re: Bug Thread January 12, 2009
Selecting a paladin of Torm defaults domains to Fury and Good. I talked to Kal on this and he stated Fury is an incorrect domain for Torm. So, I either need a remake or need to start from scratch.

Do you mean for a cleric of Torm? Paladins don't get domains... are we talking about a cleric of Torm multiclassing into paladin, or vice versa, perhaps?davidcurtisjr wrote:Selecting a paladin of Torm defaults domains to Fury and Good.

Yes cleric of Torm. But that's par for the course for me. It also seems that there are bug issues with Divine feats. For instance I created two characters today. With the first character I selected Divine Resistance and Empowered Turning. Empowered Turning did not show up under my character profile. On my second character I selected empowered turning and enhanced turning. Neither of these feats showed up under my character profile. So, if there's anyone willing, I need my vault cleared.

My character is unable to enter the new clothing store in Silverymoon. The AT just does nothing, much like with the armoury in Quaevarr.

Please modify my request to have my vault cleared to exclude the character Kristoff Aers. Thanks.

Re: Bug Thread January 12, 2009
By character profile you mean character sheet, I take it? The page that lists the feats? if so, after discussing a similar situation (in that feats are wonky) with Acadius about my PC (see above post) he mentioned it's possible that is may be due to my game having SoZ installed currently. Do you have SoZ installed by any chance?davidcurtisjr wrote:Yes cleric of Torm. But that's par for the course for me. It also seems that there are bug issues with Divine feats. Indeed, Empowered and Improved Turning are SoZ additions, so they will not be available yet to PCs in ALFA.
