Perhaps if Hialmar sees this, he can PM you both, but I am pretty sure it is a CD key thing. Hialmar likely has to enter in the new CD keys into some super secret master file somewhere and it will be fixed likety split.
Also you can PM Hialmar directly with the issue, he is great about getting things fixed.

Yes you need to PM me or someone in the Tech team your public CDKey.
Here is how you compute it:
If your CD Key is:
WFWT7MPYJ4DMKV7N
You take the 2nd letter, then the 4th, 6th, 8th, 10th, 12th, 14th and the 16th and you get:
FTMY4MVN
which is your public CD key.
Without that mechanism anyone who knows your GSID could play your toons (because the password isn't used anymore now that Bioware's master servers are down).

pragmatic (adj.)
The opposite of idealistic is pragmatic, a word that describes a philosophy of "doing what works best."
From Greek pragma "deed," the word has historically described philosophers and politicians who were
concerned more with real-world application of ideas than with abstract notions. A pragmatic person
is sensible, grounded, and practical.

Damned
I suppose the only solution is now bootcamp with Windows.
If your friend doesn't have Windows then maybe this:
http://www.codeweavers.com/
They say it works well on it:
