And This.... Lomialor Lor'Liarill and Tiggon (both lvl2 as I recall), in an epic battle agains two worg, The nasty ones in the forrest outside NWN1 Northern Cormyr's Arabel City. EPIC loooong fight... usually only one worg there, but the fight went so long that another one spawned (or so I think). Heart pounding stuff...and we won. Lomi stabilised unconscious Tiggon until help could be found.

The low rumble of gathering storm clouds was a herald for the pitter patter of rain drops on the forest canopy. The moon swallowed into the dark mass above, allowing the shadows to grow from their confines. The once green leaves carpeting the ground, now a collaboration of earthy browns and greys. A cool breeze whispers in the branches above, and agitates the leaf litter below, disguising the footsteps of a small form, slinking through the forest.

A patchwork of different hued leathers and furs adorn its compact and robust body. A mane of thick, dark tangled hair hangs in a pony tail against its back. Rough braids dangle onto its chest, interwoven with wooden and stone beads. Through its thick rain soaked fringe, the eyes of a ghostwise hin can be seen darting about cautiously.

His bare feet hit the moss of a fallen tree, traversing it one in front of the other. Pausing a moment, he inhales the scents of the forest through his nostrils before turning and ushering on the elegant figure behind him.

The moons face appears for a moment in the sky, breaking free of its thunderous oppressors. Its leaf filtered light running over the now defined features of a wild elf, sleek and graceful in his movements as he advances to the hins beckoning. Thunder crackles over head, his nerve staying steady, majestic bow held loosely as his sharp eyes pierce the surrounding gloom. Water dampens his feather entwined hair and organic attire, heavy drops falling on him from the leaves and branches above.

Though contrasting in size, the pair move with similar fluidity, a past green and wild, obvious in both of them. The hin motions for silence as they pass between weathered house and rising cliff face, both knowing what wanders ahead.

Progressing past the aged building, the hin moves with arrogant pace, his footsteps unheard against the rain pounding the canopy above. His gaze moving over the ground before him, deciding each footstep with wisdom grown from his southern forest home. His pacing pauses as a full-toned growl erupts from beyond his shoulder. His gaze whirls about, pulling a tomahawk from a strap on his side.

White fangs flash in the dark as a hulking Worg crashes through the undergrowth, its path headed towards the wild elf. Arrow already notched in his exquisite bow, the elf’s expression hardens, knowing this foe to be superior to both himself and guide. Air rushes over tomahawk and arrow alike seeking the beast, finding their marks in both flesh and tree trunk as the threat advances. The hin rushes forwards with a snarl. Knowing his responsibility as guide, he issues a growl of his own, challenging the massive predator. Flinging a second tomahawk towards the beast, the light footed hin spins on his heel, darting away with the Worg in tow.

Gazing down the shaft of his notched arrow, the now composed wild elf, hunts the beast with missile after missile. His keen eye sending each arrow through the labyrinth of trees towards the hins pursuer. Pacing slowly forwards as he lets each arrow fly, the elf watches the ghostwise scramble across rock, scurry under branch and leap over log in an attempt to slow the blood thirsty beast. The worg crashes on through shrub and bush, hide now seeping blood from arrow and splinter. The predator was weakening, the wild elf could see this, each arrow let loose with growing confidence.

Snapping with rage as each arrow drives its way into its flesh, the worg begins to slow. Glancing to the beast from over his shoulder, the hin throws out an arm, sending a tomahawk spinning through the air towards the chasing predator. He continues the dash, returning his gaze to the forest before him. His brow suddenly lifts, eyes wide in alarm. He pulls up, slipping on the leaf litter. Feet and leaves shooting high in the air, the hin floats a moment before crashing down against forest floor with a thud. Between the tree's ahead pants another Worg, drool pouring from its mouth as it surges forward.

Hurrying forth, the elf watches as the hin is sent reeling from between the two worgs. Tumbling over twig and leaf before rolling to his feet, the hardy ghostwise spurts away, chased by the untouched worg as it snaps at his heels.

The arrival of another arrow in its rump turns the remaining worgs attention to the warrior elf. Eyes blood shot, fur matted and blood soaked, it issues a howl towards the heavens before crashing towards its assailant. The wild one slowly notches an arrow, watching the worg with a calm steady gaze. His keen elf sight shoots down the wooden shaft, watching patiently as the worg approaches. Whistling death, the arrow streaks forth, finding its place in the beasts skull. Its legs give way, as it slides to a halt at the elf’s feet in an eruption of leaves and dirt.

Scampering forth through the undergrowth, the hin sprints with clenched teeth. Grimacing at the pain in his side as he hurdles log and root. His size and experience helping him gain what little ground he can on the chasing monster as he ducks under branch and slips between trees. The worg behind him gnashes its teeth, fury growing as the number of arrows eating into its flesh grows. Fighting through the pain, the ghostwise rushes on, pushing the distance between him and beast. Looking over his shoulder, he sees the beast stumble and slow, its wounds growing too many from the distant elf. Without warning, with hins world tilts, ground spinning to the sky. His body sprawls forwards, foot catching on a root. His vision is a soup of greens and browns, as he hurtles through the air. His head coming to an abrupt halt as it connects with a large stone. The world sits on its side with approaching beast before him, then all is swallowed by darkness.

I would say NWN1 DD first ever PC and land in a DM quest with drow and demons killing everyone.. Spent 4+ hours on the Fugue Plane RP'ing. On to second PC..

And server jumped alot just exploring.. Met a one hit wonder on The Frozen North thanks to Moto's Mini's. Vendrin and Stormseeker knows..lol Back when a crit was a crit and it did not matter your hp's.

Then TLR.. Borgia.. Illiad (sp?) Meet Darmart,Dorn,Rotku,Nick D,Rumple,Joe (Can't remember Player name) Narmier (sp?) Stormseeker, Kalev. And many others. Had a blast as Dorn described in his short story.. Awesome by the way.. I lost Jena there (worst mistake to not have her rez'ed) :wall: But not having her rez'ed did lead to Marcus..

Agent of Mask.. Destroyer of the Wayfarers.. (sorry Dorn)..
Went on cross server quest to become a Black Guard.. Kept having dm's nerf my xp because I was so close to leveling up. I blame the random troll spawns on DF. Or DM's on DF.. (j/k).

Had so much fun no matter where I played or who I played because its all about the RP. :D

2003? has it been that long since my second pc died to that drow attack on dd. Went back and started reading a lot of stories that people wrote. lol with as many pc's as i have had, i am the alfa's version of the star trek yellow shirt. Sometimes my pc is named(lino), sometimes its just my class(barb or fighter) and other times i am just the adventurer or no name pc. Makes me smile when i think of all the rp stories and events that i had just a small part in playing.

Now us stormies are back, i am going to see if nwn2 needs more yellow shirts.

I have to say, that was the best example of ignoring meta i've seen. All of the wayfarer players knew OOC he was an evil bastard and would turn on on us for months and months a...and years? But the PCs played on heh

It's one thing to be evil in game, it's quite another to just not be worth playing with. I can think of only a couple players who are like that in my time in ALFA and Exodus.
First Character: Zyrus Meynolt, the serene Water Genasi berserker. "I am the embodiment of the oceans; serene until you summon the storm." Zyrus: http://tinyurl.com/9emdbnd

Second Character: Damien Collins, the atypical druid. "What? Being a stick in the mud is boring. No pun intended grins"
