So Tegrin is getting settled in at the Adventurer’s Quarter and has inquired about there being a “hin district” within the city. With his recent experience at the Rat Hills and hearing the many stories and rumors of dangers and threats, Tegrin feels he should seek out any existing shrine to halfling deities.

There is a secret hidden halfling town in Waterdeep and it is still in the mod. Not populated, but there and the secret entrance is in the dock wards somewhere.


This is the place:

Warrens

The Warrens are tunnels underneath Dock Ward and Castle Ward in Waterdeep. The Warrens have existed for hundreds of years and are inhabited primarily by gnomes and halflings.

There is a temple dedicated to Baravar Cloakshadow located within the Warrens. The elder high priest of the temple, as of 1479 DR, was Ompahr Daergech. His great-great-great-granddaughter, Roywyn Daergech was also a priest at the temple.

I pulled it because the walkmesh was messed up, it wasn't really designed per Canon, and was impossible to find. Considering adding a new version of it at some point.

Yeah, it was difficult to navigate through. I don't think it was finished, there was no NPC's or anyone around.

I had read that same lore and heard it mentioned in a Forgotten Realms novel so was curious what was in the build. I just role play it off-camera so to speak, my char mentions it as a place he visits to socialize.

It is not really that hidden anymore since the hins blabbed it to everyone But yeah, RP'ing it would be awesome until everyone calls your bluff and Ayergo has to follow through and rebuild it!

From the recent delving into the lower levels of Yintros:

* The lower levels of Yintros leads to a sanctuary of sort, a place where plants grow, the air is cool, and fresh water flows in abundance. It can be used to safely rest.

* Beyond that sanctuary is a connection to some deep sewers which seem to lie further below the ground than the regular sewers.

* In the deep sewers a nasty group of well armed fights and mages seems to hold power. Some knowledgeable characters have labelled them as part of a gang called "The Xanathar".

* The sanctuary below Yintros is the final resting place of Levi and Yeshua (the avatar of Ilmater)

* The apparition of Levi spoke to a group of adventurers: "See them for what they are, not what they appear to be." and "Ease their pain." - It is unclear to who he was referring.

Conversations in the Safehaven among Tegrin, Cullen, and Wayfarer:


It seems that a group has discovered that some of Woland's henchmen require a salve or lotion of some sort be rubbed on their skin with some frequency. If this does not happen then their disguise of appearing human (-ish) will wear off, revealing their true forms.

This, to Wayfarer, seems to be further confirmation that the Apparition of Levi was speaking about Woland and his followers with See them for what they are, not what they appear to be." and "Ease their pain."

A plan being hatched by the three (admittedly not the wisest PCs in the Safehaven) to swap out the salve with some other similar balm, perhaps some stripping agent that might force one of Woland's groups to reveal their true form.

Then after that maybe we can get on with the "Ease their pain" part. (Wayfarer has theories on that too... but that's for another post).

Interesting ideas! I do however believe that the purpose you list is pure speculation. I don't think a purpose has been identified.

The book was given to Dahvet, who, alas, has hung up his fists for good. We are left but to hope that perhaps he delivered a package to someone before doing so and it’s just taking the wayward delivery person awhile to get around to it.

A diary, formerly the property of the knight Koroviev, was found in the Crypt of Chauntea. This book is clearly several hundred years old and only scraps remain of the writing in this book.

Day XXX Armor polish substandard. Armor boy whipped. Will have to cancel court appearances and judge grain dispute later.

Day XXX Problem in fields. Not knights work, sent stable hands to assist with plow. Peasants are revolting.

Attack on... must get... hiding inside with others...managed to save manicure set but lost armor polish.
