February gaming

Post by valn99 »

Not sure yet if I can play Friday, but if I do, I wouldn't mind a quieter pace.

What are some of our loose ends?
Some persons Bran would want to speak to again:
- The Master (the heretic, book writer)
- Marianna (his beloved)
- Levi (assuming we can have a true discussion with the ghost, not sure of that)

We could use more information on the planar incursion and the portals.
What do we do about them? Do we keep whacking?

What about Woland? Can we investigate /him/ further?
What about that party he wants US to organize?

I'm sure you'll have other ideas. :)
NWN1 PC:
Now (2017): Bran, naive servant of Lathander, currently thinking about opening a potion shop.
circa 2000: JenWa, proud mother duck and half-crazed sorceress of Shadowdale.

NW2 PC: Kasil Trueforger, dwarven scholar of Felbarr.

Garlus Ironbeard: [d] I was sure there was a reason we brought you along.
Kevorn Trueforger: [d] I'm da funny one and ye're da smart one.

K now thinks Woland and co are more central to this whole thing than first thought. Guessing that using the party as a trap and to learn the location of the source might be the way to go. We’ll need to speak with Marianna, but we’ll need to figure out her role, esp what she means to Woland.
Currently laying the smackdown on Faerun as: Keryn Tel'Jora, who is XXX-TREME!!!.
Currently explaining the meaninglessness of it all as Vizian Nazyr.
Currently pointing out all other characters' shortcomings as Stephen the Archer.

Wayfarer has come to believe (based on nothing more than his own pondering imagination) that Levi's apparition was referring to Woland and his troup with his words.

Slowing the pace is always a great idea.

Dodging fireballs is super fun/exciting and very appreciated.

But tavern talk and chatting up NPCs is far above on my priority list...

Anyone need divine spell help (zone of truth comes to mind...) please let me know.........

That's what all the PG'ers say.

No they don’t, because it makes them look like one!

If we had RPXP I’d never leave the bar!

I was the queen of RP XP in my day. Gotta love an ambience DM.

I was the DM in charge of festivals, tournaments, parties, and religious ceremonies long ago. Always fun.

But I have a feeling someone is going to get volunteered to try out Daagerford. Someone’s going to have to invest in a lot of healing potions, I wager.

Not necessarily. Rick could pull an HDM-Kefka and just pick a group of PC's to play test under supervision. (Which is probably the best way to handle it, really.)

Thanks for volunteering to lead the expedition!
There's a place I like to hide
A doorway that I run through in the night
Relax child, you were there
But only didn't realize and you were scared
It's a place where you will learn
To face your fears, retrace the years
And ride the whims of your mind

Absolutely! That was the intention! Well, not assuming to LEAD an expedition, but recruit some bodies to watch each others' backs on said expedition is much more the intention ...

(Mrs_dergon going out for her usual Wednesday with her best gf ... so I'm clear for Valentine's gaming :) )

I might actually be around then as well! I'm flying back to Cali tomorrow for a quick trip and will be at the airport around that time.
