Ayergo, Daylight Saving Time and Friday Gaming
So, here in the US, we "sprang forward" an hour, meaning that my usual 7:30PM Friday login time will now be 6:30AM Saturday "Ayergo time" instead of an early, but apparently semi-reasonable 7:30AM.
I am assuming that from now on start time on Fridays will be roughly an hour later, right? (Unofficially, of course - there was never an official start time that I was aware of.)
EDIT - Just read that Ayergo is DMing "all weekend long" this weekend, so I guess that means he will be on at 6:30AM Ayergo time on Saturday morning. *whistles innocently*

Re: Ayergo, Daylight Saving Time and Friday Gaming
Its more complicated than that actually, as I'm in Australia now (Canberra)! So I have no idea what time it is and I'm jet lagged, so I'll probably be up early to play. If someone wants to do the math for a regular start time let me know what it is and I'll be there.
There's a place I like to hide
A doorway that I run through in the night
Relax child, you were there
But only didn't realize and you were scared
It's a place where you will learn
To face your fears, retrace the years
And ride the whims of your mind
A doorway that I run through in the night
Relax child, you were there
But only didn't realize and you were scared
It's a place where you will learn
To face your fears, retrace the years
And ride the whims of your mind

Canberra is 11 hours ahead of US East Coast now, so to be on at my 7:30PM Friday you will need to be on at 10:30AM Saturday Canberra time.ayergo wrote:Its more complicated than that actually, as I'm in Australia now (Canberra)! Not that 7:30PM Friday is the regular start time for anybody but me! What can I say, I am a planner which some people find annoying *squints at Gaia and Twilight* Oh, what am I saying, the person most annoyed by my planning OCD is Mrs. Wombat!

My phone shows Canberra is 15 hours ahead of USA east coast time? LOL. Yeah, 15 hours. So much for being helpful, eh? I posted from work, so I guess my mind was fixated on 8 hours being a day, not 12 (8+3=11 versus 12+3=15)Cleasor wrote:My phone shows Canberra is 15 hours ahead of USA east coast time? Regardless, If Ayergo is on at 10:30AM Saturday Canberra time, that will be 7:30PM Friday US East Coast.

Regardless, I am at least going to try to be on for a bit on Friday night, even if it's just for a bit of RP before the basketball game starts.
Current PC: Alora Tuffet-Hopper, foul-mouthed and irreverent bard and Meat, dwarven cleric who likes to punch himself in the face.
Re: Ayergo, Daylight Saving Time and Friday Gaming
Sadly, my team didn’t make the tournament... so I can play at least! I’ll be on at my normal time, around 9 eastern, damn your simple math!
No big ideas here. I’ve had some, they’ve not panned out. So Keryn’s just trying to decide what to wear to the party.

I should be there Friday, probably around 7:30 eastern.
I don't have any specific goals, since I've been MIA those past weeks.
Get Bran if you need him and he'll gladly help.

NWN1 PC:
Now (2017): Bran, naive servant of Lathander, currently thinking about opening a potion shop.
circa 2000: JenWa, proud mother duck and half-crazed sorceress of Shadowdale.
NW2 PC: Kasil Trueforger, dwarven scholar of Felbarr.
Garlus Ironbeard: [d] I was sure there was a reason we brought you along.
Kevorn Trueforger: [d] I'm da funny one and ye're da smart one.

I suggest we keep advancing the portals plot. Jack has some new information to share. The threat is expanding.

Murgen is pretty useless against Half Fiends since his axe bounces off of them!Arianna wrote:Well I am going to vote for clearing out the demons and portals from Marisha's Home and neighborhood . . . they are not very good housekeepers

It should be pretty obvious - since Murgen has stated as much IC several times - that Murgen is focused on giving Thorv the peace he deserves. Anything else is incidental!
