Charm person used on freindlies
Can the spell "Charm person" be used on freindly PC's? I tried this once before on a freindly NPC and it didn't seem to work mechanics-wise, but the possibility exists that I may have just muffed it somehow.
Anyone out there have some experience with this?

Similarly 'hold animal' cannot target friendly, appetising animals.

No. Sleep doesn't, either.
I thought Full PvP might enable this, but apparently not. Thanks NWN2!

Apparently, from what I've found out, currently we are unable to make spells that can target any sort of creature; you have to choose enemies only, or neutral/allies only. The sole exception to these is the Cure Wounds suite of spells, which are hardcoded to work properly.
Disappointing, but there you have it.

Yet again I find myself asking,
"Why, Obsidian? Oh why?"
as I gnash my teeth and weep bitterly.
